Wut.
You saw the splits in our record for when we had him vs. when we didnt. You cant just replace him with one of the many mediocre talents at RB in this draft. The closest thing to Best in this draft is Tavon Austin. _________________

I think the splits have more than just Best playing and not playing.
On potential alone maybe Austin but there are many backs and maybe even in UDFA territory that will provide what we need at RB for Best-like production.
Best wasn't amazing. He had some high points but didn't really do that much. Provided a nice change of pace play but we can find that in the draft. _________________ AAL: DeAndre Levy 31 Tackles

Look at his games without turf toe. He averaged like 175+ all purpose yards. His role is vital to our offense. _________________ Kate Upton for sexy President!!!

These issues are causing NHL players to miss at least 10-12 months of play. (For example, Sidney Crosby, Patrice Bergeron, Chris Pronger, Petr Mueller), but the NFL is clearing these guys (sans Best, he was out for months after his first concussion) after what, 2 weeks?
The NFL needs to take more serious action with concussions. I don't care if the NFL life of a player is short; cutting his life short to rush him back to play is worse. This league needs to take more precautions with concussions. |
I don't agree. The examples you cite from the NHL are all players that had numerous concussions over their careers. Crosby and Pronger also had multiple concussions close together.
If you recall Bergeron left the ice on a gurney and was unconcious.
Mueller has suffered five concussions. The last s result of catching an errant stick in the temple. He is an example of a player that shouldn't be cleared to play again. He wears a tinted visor because without it the lights cause his symptoms to return.
Pronger has had numerous concussions and he should never be cleared to play again. His situation was mishandled from the onset and he played close to a month with concussion symptoms before they finally shut him down.
If you recall Crosby suffered a concussion and attempted to play through it and was hit the next game suffering additional head trauma.
If anything the NHL isn't vigilante enough with concussions. Far to many players like Milan Michalek are back in the lineup after 4 or 5 games _________________

Very sad to hear if true. Guy had all the talent in the world, to bad he got to retire early in order to have a normal life. _________________ Why, if it isn't my old friend, Mr. McGreg. With a leg for an arm and an arm for a leg. |

| After watching the OTL featuring Leroy Hoard talking about his life post-NFL I have to say that I am glad that Best will not be back. Good luck to him and I hope that he can live a symptom free life here on out. |

What other injury prone bust?
THey have not drafted any other injury prone busts so far.
Charles Rogers had no injury concerns if you are thinking that. He was just dumb. _________________
