I only want to investigate the possibility because he's a name I'm 90% sure we'd lose him in free agency. We should investigate all our options. |
If it works with the cap, I would say yes. He is more important to the team than some of the other high contract guys we have discussed. _________________

Just found out Don Carey's middle name is Juan.
I guess that's reason enough to keep him. _________________ Football is love, love is life. |

This. We should give him whatever he wants, whenever he wants. _________________

UFA Priorities
1) Chris Houston
2) Sammie Hill
3) Louis Delmas
If you want to put your priorities here, I can work on forming a weighted group average. |
I would go after Houston, Delmas, and Hill in that order. It's going to be hard for the Lions (in real life, at least) to fill both starting safety roles in the same offseason. If we could retain Delmas it would take a lot of pressure off of us, even if it means sacrificing Hill (who I hope doesn't leave, but he'll be hard to afford).
Houston is our most important FA overall, though. The Lions need to keep him. _________________

Any interest in taking some sort of flyer on Robert Ayers? Obviously for very low value. Due $1.06 million in 2013. _________________ Football is love, love is life. |

| I wouldn't mind taking a flier on the guy. Especially if he has a low cap hit. |

Tommorow night I think trades can be official, so I think it'll be fine if your inactive until then. _________________ Kate Upton for sexy President!!!
