Wade Smith Guard- Houston. Although he his 31, we could get some great use out of him. maybe a 5th or 6th?
Taylor Mays Strong Safety- Bengals. I just love him lol
Daniel Thomas RB- Miami. I think he can easily be a #1 in this league, only problem is Pead and Richardson
Thomas Davis LB-Caolina. Always a common name in these forums every offseason I find, hell of a player though. |
Switch Daniel Thomas out for Ben Tate.
Thomas Davis is always brought up in the forum. I'll check and see. |
Oh crap, was Tate an option? Yeah for sure then, Tate is solid. Needsa few kinks to be worked out but can't complain _________________

As offensive coordinator, I think we'll be seeing a lot more ZBS looks next year, assuming Sj doesn't return. Fits Pead's and Richardson's playing styles much better and gives us the flexibility of a quicker, more agile line allowing for better pass blocking. In fact, I'm pretty sure the only big gains Richardson had last year came out of a ZBS look and that's all Pead ever worked with in Cincy. _________________

I have been offered Eugene Sims and Jake McQuaide for Stephen Peterman and Don Carey. Thoughts? I`m trying to get LB Travis Lewis in the deal, then I wouldn`t mind it. _________________

So hmmmm what's going on here.. A lot of talking.. Is this the time where were trying to trade?
Also, I see a lot of talk of trading 3'rds and 4'ths. But the return seems avg. _________________

J.R.S., checking in for duty.
Personally, I do not see much advantage to trading aggressively at this time. During the draft, that is a different story.....
I like Baldwin, but I wouldn't give anything higher than a 5th for him. He's talented, but unproven.
Taylor Mays is interesting as well, but I'd personally be hesitant to give up anything higher than a 4th for him. _________________

If Lewis is truly desirable then I'd okay this deal. I like having defensive line depth as well though, so I'd say no to Peterman and Carey alone. _________________

They wont add Lewis. Peterman`s salary is the big concern about this trade. Its up to you guys if you`d rather have the S\G depth or DE depth. _________________

Why are we trading our Long Snapper?
We kind of need that guy.
I still don't think Stephen Peterman is worth trading for. He's not a good player and he's a career RG. So we're trading for an expensive backup RG? Pass.
As for HBs, I'm never really in favor of trading much compensation for them. Just too many good ones out there.
Finally, Taylor Mays? 0 interest at all. Zimmer is known as a guy that saves careers of busts and even he can't save Mays's career. Never liked Mays as a prospect though. _________________
