This guy has taken on the role of being AdamJT13's apprentice in comp picks. He was more accurate than adam was in 2012...
One thing that's interesting to note. We have FOUR comp picks projected. a 4th for Lofton and three 7th's. One for Weems, one for Sanders and 1 for Hayden.
If we got all the picks we'd have 11 in total for the 2013 draft.

Give us some flexibility to move around a bit with some other picks. Maybe move up in the second to get a guy like Eddie Lacy or Zach Ertz...
Lets hope we get at least 3 of these! _________________

That'd be pretty sweet. IMO, lots of talent to be had in the later rounds this year. _________________ "John Wayne and Rio Lobo are coming up next, just as soon as Jeffrey Leonard hits into a 6-4-3." (CRACK!) "Six...four...three!" -- Skip Caray |

Awesome. Like adam pointed out, this gives Dimitroff some flexibility. He can now be a little more aggressive. I'd like to see the Falcons jump around in the first couple of rounds. Something like trade the first for a second and third (which would leave the Falcons with two seconds, two thirds) and then trade a third, fourth, and seventh to get into the second again. That'd leave the Falcons with three seconds, a third, etc. _________________

lol. it's not like late round draft picks are a high hit rate though. for every Carl Nicks there's 31 nobodies. _________________

To be fair, we haven't had the greatest success rate with late round picks. From 2008 (when TD took over) here is the best late round (outside the top 100) pick from each franchise:
All Pros
Cincinnati Bengals - Geno Atkins - 2010
New Orleans Saints - Carl Nicks - 2008
Seattle Seahawks - Richard Sherman - 2011
Pro Bowlers / Good Starters
Buffalo Bills - Stevie Johnson - 2008
Carolina Panthers - Greg Hardy - 2010
Chicago Bears - Henry Melton - 2009
Cleveland Browns - Ahtyba Rubin - 2008
Green Bay Packers - Josh Sitton - 2008
Kansas City Chiefs - Brandon Carr - 2008
Miami Dolphins - Reshard Jones - 2010
Minnesota Vikings - John Sullivan - 2008
New England Patriots - Aaron Hernandez - 2010
Pittsburgh Steelers - Antonio Brown - 2010
Washington Redskins - Alfred Morris - 2012
Solid Starters
Denver Broncos - Kory Lichtensteiger - 2008
Detroit Lions - Jerome Felton - 2008
Houston Texans - Glover Quin - 2008
Indianapolis Colts - Pierre Garcon - 2008
Jacksonville Jaguars - Cecil Shorts - 2011
New York Jets - Dwight Lowery - 2008
Oakland Raiders - Denarius Moore - 2011
San Francisco 49ers - Bruce Miller - 2011
Tampa Bay Buccaneers - Mike Williams - 2010
Tennessee Titans - Jason McCourty - 2009
Rotational Pieces
Arizona Cardinals - LaRod Stephens-Howling - 2009
Atlanta Falcons - Kroy Biermann/Garrett Reynolds - 2008/2009
Baltimore Ravens - Tom Zbikowski - 2008
Dallas Cowboys - Orlando Scandrick - 2008
New York Giants - Jacquian Williams - 2011
Philadelphia Eagles - Bryce Brown - 2012
San Diego Chargers - Vaughn Martin - 2009
St. Louis Rams - Greg Zuerlein - 2012
Now note that Jerry Reese and Ozzie Newsome (pretty good GMs) haven't hit on any either. But we haven't had the luck where a high upside guy like Sidbury or Franks pans out. _________________

Dimtroff has hit on early round picks Ryan, Lofton, Moore, Julio even though he traded away multiple picks and Spoon . His two misses were Baker and Jerry but least Baker rebounded with a decent year . Of course it was in a contract year as well . It's been his mid to later round draft picks he has not found a impact player and there have been a ton he has missed
Tyvonn Branch
Brandon Carr
Pierre Garçon
Navvaro Bowman
Erick Decker
Jimmy Graham
Corey Peters over Geno Atkins
I can go on and on but TD needs to kill this draft with a stud first round pick and a gem in mid to late rounds . |

Let's hope so. The likelihood of him hitting on all of them is pretty low, just like it is for basically every team.
Swift- what positions are you thinking we should go after in the draft? Whether it's early round, mid rounds, or late rounds? What position do you see as a strength in this draft that would help us out? _________________ "John Wayne and Rio Lobo are coming up next, just as soon as Jeffrey Leonard hits into a 6-4-3." 1st round -De or DB ..My thinking is if Dunta is cut . Grimes is not brought back for a mid tier contract with some incentives . We are going to need a corner. McClain/Asante/1st round pick ..
If Grimes is brought back ...We should go DE or DT ..I would go Best DE on the board .
2nd round ..Best DT or Best RG ..
3rd round - whichever one we didnt take in round 2 or a RB depending on free agency and we get a rb like Chris Ivory as a free agent and go with a running back by committee
4th round- project TE . I would be okay with more /4 wr sets with Douglas and Davis ..Put Coffman in see how he does for a year
4th round -comp pick- DE big time project
5th round- LB
6th round- WR with size
7th round oline |

How about nabbing Quizz in the 5th?
But yea as someone mentioned before, lots of mid/late round talent in this draft. _________________

Honestly I'd be down to do that once again. I'm never for giving up next year's first though. Maybe move up to the 15-25 range. _________________
