How is their not a hole at ILB.
Yes Johnson or someone else could play there, but I don't anticipate them doing it very well.
That's like putting Gocong at OLB and saying that their isn't a hole.
IT'S A HOLE |
Johnson played some 34 ILB in nevada and was projected to be drafted as one. Acho has played some ILB as well. Then there is Carder Fort and Robertson and returning Gocong. |
And which one of them is good? Which one has been to a PB? The fact that we have to start one of them NEXT to DQ scares the [inappropriate/removed] out of me. Let alone replacing him and having another next to him. |
There isn't a pro bowl LB on the roster including DQ. So I don't get that part of the Question. Gocong is BETTER than DQ in the 34.
Personally if the trade were to happen. I think the starters would be Gocong and JMJ with Acho on the heels of JMJ. |
I stopped reading at the bolded part.
I am not sure how you can say Gocong is better than anyone ..... let alone DQ.
Gocong is only good when our opponent is in the red zone.
He is decent in short yardage run support and "allegedly" an average pash rusher (thouhg I have yet to see it).
Looking at typical trade value for a guy of his age, we are likely to only get a 3rd to 5th rounder for him.
No thanks, I would rather keep him and see if the improved DL helps him out.
I agree he looked bad last time we ran a 3-4, but he is our best LB bar none.
Not sure how we can trade a LB when we don't have many good ones to begin with.
I think Horton will find a way to use him! _________________ Always rooting against Pittsburgh and Baltimore ... |

If we trade D'Qwell, AT THE VERY BEST, we would get a late 3rd.
And we don't have an ILB on the team that is starting caliber on most good defenses.
Gocong I don't like, but he's alright if we have a speed LB to cover. We wouldn't.
JMJ is a really good spot starter, but not a playmaker who would need to be next to Slowcong.
So I would say if we traded D'Qwell away, we would have to find an ILB in the first 4 rounds to replace him.
Screw that. |

Isn't this considered trolling when someone posts the same topic over and over and over again??
And DS, yes, I have proven you wrong. I've listed tons of stats, depth charts, etc that prove my point.
The only thing you've done is "JMJ>DQ"
Opinion is not fact, no matter how many times you say it. _________________ 2013 First Ballot Recipient of the Joe Blackburn Award |

Torn boobs hurt. I don't understand why you mean?
I am not saying DQ will be great in a 3-4. I am saying gocong was
Bad before he tore his leg up.
DQ played at a pro bowl level this year when healthy.
Yes it was a 4-3, but shouldn't we give him a chance
Now that we have good DL and a he is better? _________________ Always rooting against Pittsburgh and Baltimore ... |

seems like some people around here have a player on the roster they hate and are blind to everything but their flaws.... _________________

I feel really comfortable with this, especially Robertson, I think he might be a star in the making with the right coaching _________________ Murray State University Alum: Go Racers
