Nah. When we go 23-0 we will have to get a new OC and DC _________________

My biggest fear about this new defense is giving up big plays.
I think of that Miami vs. Arizona game from earlier this year. The one where Hartline looked like Jerry Rice. _________________ There's always money in the banana stand |

I think that's a reasonable concern. Having a more aggressive defense is fun and all, but it definitely makes you more vulnerable to the big play.
I really don't think Jauron was all that conservative. It seemed like we blitzed plenty. Granted, we weren't always the best at getting to the QB (even when we blitzed), and I wasn't a fan of some of our blitz designs, but at least Jauron tried to be aggressive. I've always been a big fan of LeBeau's blitz designs, and that seems to be exactly what Horton will do.
More big plays against us probably, but hopefully more big plays for us also. _________________ Cleveland Browns: We put the fun in dysfunction.

Just finished listening to the PC. It's only talk, but I like what I heard.
- Horton already watched the tape of all the Browns games.
- He said he loves the way the team is currently constructed, from a personnel standpoint.
- He resisted every opportunity to disparage the previous coaches. In fact, he was complimentary.
- Handled all the questions about being passed over for HC with a lot of class and honesty.
- He particularly loves the bug guys on the D-line and their athleticism.
Can't wait to see what he does. _________________ Cleveland Browns: We put the fun in dysfunction.

We won't have to worry about Hartline since he'll be on the team _________________

You coach to fit the talent you have.
Yes, if you come in to a job with the perfect talent to fit your system, then run it.
When you have a hodge podge and may not have the guys you want, you have to adjust.
This game is more about adjustments than anything. And not just on the field adjustments. _________________

Couldnt agree with you more Nug. To me a good coach is a versatile one... in any facet of life I'm more impressed with someone who can adjust to the resources available than someone who needs the right pieces to be successful. |

Not really
It speaks to the specific scheme that he wants to run. Not every scheme uses those types of players.
Also sheds some light on what players we may want to bring in, keep, or cut. _________________ Trent Richardson please!!! |

I also think it defines his expectations... "Hey Buster Skrine, you're pretty fast! That's awesome! But your tackle on (insert opposing offensive player here) sucked... you're sitting." I love that he won't put up with a one trick pony. |
