Even if he were coming back next year they'd drop the suspension anyway... can't find the hospital gown. _________________

Will the NFL even do anything? One of the posters boys of the nfl, I'm sure they'll be happy to ignore it knowing Ray is retiring anyway. _________________

What's inconsistent here? If the NFL rules he did something illegal he'll face the same discipline as everyone else. _________________

His last game of his career is in 5 days. There will be no discipline.
This is something new for Ray, doing wrong and getting away... _________________

They can still suspend him. Not really his problem that he won't be around to serve it.
Can someone get in trouble for this? Isn't it illegal to record a phone convo without someone's permission. _________________

Nothings inconsistent....yet. I just wonder if "Mr Safety" will comment on it and call for a fine in the name of consistency.... _________________ Stevan Ridley, Att: 225, Yds: 1010, Y/A: 4.0, TD:9

He used it to recover from a season ending injury OFF the Field. Any 49er fan that is licking their chops should just stop lol |
Uh, aren't all illegal substances used OFF the field? Don't believe I've ever seen an athlete shoot up on the sidelines.
IF true then he did something illegal to get back playing sooner which would obviously be an advantage ON the field for the Ravens. _________________

Yes, lets deflect the attention to the guy that recorded it. He definitely should be the main focus of the story.
Sounds like he knew what he was doing right from the beginning. Pretty shady on is part to record it yet I'm sure he figured he could gain something by doing it in the first place. _________________

It's just conveniant that he won't be around to serve the suspension.
Also conveniant it didn't come out until 5 days before the game.
Whoever this guy is has had the tape since it was made months ago.
That's all i'm saying
And as far as the recording, I do believe that is illegal also. _________________
