| Attracted to this thread like wolverines and a carcass. I'm ambivalent. We're pretending like we care about NFL players using banned substances now? I don't care about any Patriots fan whining about Rodney Harrison. |

I wonder what Mrs. Welker thinks.
Anyone think he gets punished for it? _________________

What are they gonna do? He's retiring next season anyway. _________________

Does anyone see this potentially affecting any gigs he might get in retirement? We all know he was the "big name FA" among the networks: NFLN, FOX, NBC, CBS, ESPN, etc.
Do any of them think twice before making him an offer now? _________________

I doubt it. It didn't stop NBC from signing Rodney Harrison. |

And ESPN takes pretty much anyone. Tim Hasselbeck and Trent Dilfer as QB experts? LOL. Not to mention the other garbage people they have or had like Emmitt Smith or Rob Parker _________________

It's not all that uncommon for criminals to go back to their roots when in duress. Ray Lewis is a cheater, and his legacy is now tainted.
2013 Super Bowl Losers - Ravens *
* - Ray Lewis and probably Terrell Suggs both cheated. |

Exactly
The guy cheated and knew since retiring, that he wouldn't have to suffer any concequences.
On one hand, it was smart of him.
On the other, it's another move that shows his character.... or lack of _________________

People don't care about NFL players using banned substances. |

If I were a Patriots fan I probably would have tried to mitigate my pain with this story too. I don't blame you. |

Besides I don't really take it to heart with him, he didn't use it to gain a uncompetitive edge on guys on the field he did it to get ON the field. |
If Ray did take this substance to get on the field quicker people will point out he's such a player and a warrior. When Rodney Harrison does it he's a cheater?
If he's found guilty i rather not see people dignify it. _________________

I'm pretty sure most NFL players have used some sort of banned substance or something of the sort to heal up quick and get back on the field. There are numerous players that have came back in matter of weeks when it would have took one of us at least a couple of months to recover from. You can't tell me that they used the conventional way of healing to get back on the field. Peyton Manning went out of the country to heal his neck because the stem cell therapy he was involved with was illegal here. _________________

Can we chill out with the potshots at one another? Can we skip out on the clear attempts to bait others into a negative response? For once, can some of you children actually talk about football?
Thanks. _________________
