The team would probably rather trade him for a pick. at this point I think they would take whatever they could get. I can see him going for a 5th or 6th. Or maybe even as part of a package on draft day. Why cut him if you can sweeten a deal by throwing him in.

This is how I feel too...
They will try to ship him for a late rounder or for a little move up in the middle rounds. We could take some part of his salary, so the new team won't have to take full of that and we still will be a lot better then a simple cut.
