|
Why are so many people only so high on seeing Ray Lewis get a ring, (as if he doesn't have one already) yet you rarely hear people say they'd like to see Randy Moss get one.
Both of these guys will retire as arguably the best at their position but why does no one bring up Randy Moss? Moss has been part of two of the best teams in recent memory to not win the SB...the 07 Patriots and the 98 Vikings. I know Randy isn't as uplifting spiritually as Ray but he's still one of the most physically gifted and exciting players in NFL history.
I'm just wondering why no one is speaking up about Randy when it comes to HIM going out a winner as opposed to always hearing..."let's win it for Ray". _________________ 44 and 21 Once a Giant, always a Giant

Everyone forgot about Moss, but when he burns the Raven's DB's I'm sure people will remember him. _________________

Randy Moss quit on his team, I have no desire to see that attitude rewarded. If the 49ers cut Randy tomorrow and signed TO in his place, I would root for the 49ers b/c TO never quit, EVER. Maybe its just my own thing, but I respect the try hard guys a lot more than the uber talented quitters. _________________

Actually, no, the media is making Ray Lewis a huge deal, not Ray himself. _________________

Ray already has a ring too, so it's really not that big of a deal.
Moss winning a ring where Rice built his legacy so Jerry gets mad but can never admit it because he wants people to think he is humble, would be pretty kewl. _________________ Equal Opportunity Hater

Ray is definitely a big part of it.
His crying is beyond over the top.

Seriously ?
Lewis is a great self promoter so to hint he is led on by the media is stretching it.
I would much rather see Lewis win a ring than Moss because whatever people think about Lewis as a person he always puts his all into every play unlike Moss. |

Depends on which part of Lewis' game you are talking about. He's good against the run but is a liability in coverage. However, the scheme can mask his liability in coverage at times. _________________

Yea, not sure why he did that. Dude was the ideal teammate, didn't divide locker rooms, throw people under buses, or accuse teammates of conspiring against him and stuff. _________________ Equal Opportunity Hater

Dude was the ideal teammate, didn't divide locker rooms, throw people under buses, or accuse teammates of conspiring against him and stuff. | or he told the truth, was thrown under the bus by his QB, and the locker room (you can't fool the locker room) stood behind him, and was making McNabb an ineffective leader so they had to cut ties w/ him, even tho he was 100% in the right. _________________
