Frazier could have made a case, maybe even one of the Harbaughs or Mike Smith, but congrats to Arians.
We'll see how far he takes Arizona. _________________

Bruce did well, but much like Luck and the entire Colts team this year, I think he was overrated.
Dont get me wrong, they were all good, but none were as good as advertised. Luck got more attention and love much of the season than 2 rookie QBs who clearly outplayed him, and the Colts won 11 games on a very easy schedule and were riding high on emotions.
I wont say Arians didnt have a case, but I think this was a "perfect storm" situation. I think Arians (with Arizona) and the Colts both come back down to earth pretty quickly. _________________

Who knew that Bruce Arians would be a better head coach than offensive coordinator? _________________

I am a little surprised he won, but given the circumstances its not terribly surprising _________________

Good choice, though I would have given the award to Shanahan. _________________ Stop slobbering over Brian Dawkins |

After their last game? No way.
I don't think they're supposed to take playoffs into account when voting(I could be wrong), but you can't give he award to a guy who puts his QB out there in that condition. _________________

The only person I blame for the Griffin situation is whoever was responsible for the field. _________________ Stop slobbering over Brian Dawkins |

Im not saying the Cards cant improve under him by any means.
Im just saying I seriously doubt he will ever be the great coach this award implies he is. _________________

Who overrated us? Last I checked, dramatically outperforming expectations was a good thing. Us winning as much as we did was an accomplishment because teams in our scenario rarely win more than a handful of games. Nobody expected it, nobody had us rated.
Whether or not we come back to earth next year is irrelevant for 2012 awards. |

Would have selected Jim over Bruce. Can't blame people for voting for Bruce considering the circumstances around his year though and the job he did. _________________

Why Jim Harbaugh? Not saying he didn't do a good job, but he won last year. Our record wasn't as good even though the schedule was much harder. Are you picking him for choosing Kaepernick over Smith? _________________
