Every player thinks he's better than the next guy. That's the kind of mentality you need to have in a competitive sport, but most players don't actually say it outright. _________________

Not necessarily, they got Megatron, Broyles and Mike Thomas, that's a solid trio, but the loss of young will hurt |
Broyles is coming back from an torn ACL (for the 2nd time in his career) and Thomas isn't very good. |
Different knee and he should be fine, WR isn't that big of a priority, and it wasn't like he set the world on fire in Detroit, should be easily replaceable. _________________

If Amendola leaves in FA I wouldnt mind him coming in and playing the slot for us. If he acts up just cut him right away _________________

I wouldn't mind if the Broncos picked him up for the cheap. Since Stokley is pretty much done we're going to need a good slot receiver.
As long as he comes in humble and ready to work I wouldn't have much problem with it. _________________ My XBL GT is Elway7Sharpe84

The guy still has talent. I expect a team to pick him up. _________________ Why, if it isn't my old friend, Mr. McGreg. With a leg for an arm and an arm for a leg. |

Minnesota needs WR help, but please, please, stay away Titus.
Hopefully Spielman realizes this isn't the kind of guy to take a chance on. _________________

I think Manning would mentor him, teach him a thing or two about being humble and having a good work ethic.
He has the talent, I think he needs to go to a team with pretty good leadership to reign him in and get him back on track.
I think we have that here.
He'll be very cheap so there's almost no risk involved. _________________ My XBL GT is Elway7Sharpe84

Titus Young.....The story that keeps on giving. I get that you should have the mentality that your best. But saying he's better then Calvin is simply insane. There's no reason for anyone to pick him up. He just seems like a bad person who doesn't appreciate playing in the NFL. It's a shame he had a hell of a lot of talent. _________________

Peyton Manning, at this stage in his career, has no time to be straightening out diva WRs, especially ones who think they're incredible. I'll pass. _________________

Yea because Calvin, Nate, Scheffler etc aren't good quality leaders. Give it a rest. This is borderline trolling |
No it's not. It's absolutely fair to question the Lions leadership after the off season they had. |
No one is going to control grown men who decide to do stupid stuff. I don't think it has anything to do with "leadership". If people are going to go out and do stupid stuff they're going to do it. The Lions have quite a few good leaders on the roster, but they also have a few immature, stupid guys who got into some stupid stuff. No amount of leadership is going to stop mistakes like that. If it's going to happen it's going to happen until those players grow up or move on. The criticism should fall on Mayhew for drafting players who have issues. | Bold= you're right. Leadership isn't about control. It's about leading, making people want to follow you. Trying to control someone else is futile; it will always and invariably lead to dissent or outright rebellion. Showing them how to be successful, passing on knowledge learned from experience, is how one leads.
Now whether the Lions have people who can lead, I'm not sure. It doesn't appear to be looking from the outside in over the last couple years. _________________

He needs to be blackballed. But you know some team like the Jaguars (first team I thought of) who need WR help are going to entertain adding him. _________________
