1. KC - Geno Smith - KC can't afford to pass on a decent QB, Smith may be overdrafted but it's a huge need.
2. JAX - Damontre Moore - The Jags just need pass rushing help bad, and Moore is very versatile and athletic.
3. OAK - Star Lotuleli - The Raiders need for a DT should pay off here as they land a very dominant lineman.
4. PHI - Luke Joeckel - The Eagles can't rely on Jason Peters to stay healthy, and even if he does their O Line needs help.
5. DET - Bjoern Werner - The Lions may lose Avril and possibly cut KVB so DE is a big need, luckily for them the draft is deep there.
6. CLE - Jarvis Jones - Jones reminds me a bit of Von Miller and I think he could be a terrific OLB in the Browns new 3-4.
7. ARI - Eric Fisher - Fisher's senior bowl performance has vaulted him into the top 10, where the tackle hungry cardinals are waiting.
8. BUF - Dion Jordan - The Bills didn't get much out of Mark Anderson, so an upgrade at DE is needed across from Mario.
9. NYJ - Barkevious Mingo - The Jets need a consistent 3-4 OLB, and Mingo has the talent to fill that role. Milliner could be an option depending on Revis.
10. TEN - Dee Milliner - The Titans never really replaced Cortland Fiinegan, but they do here.
11. SD - Chance Warmack - With no tackle worthy of this pick the Bolts take the top interior lineman available to boost their o line.
12. MIA - Cordarelle Patterson - The Fins need a WR bad, and Patterson has the talent to greatly improve thier passing game.
13. TB - Alec Ogletree - The Bucs need a big upgrade at LB, and Ogletree has the kind of athleticism that makes GM's drool.
14. CAR - Sheldon Richardson - The Panthers need a stud DT to help shore up their d-line.
15. NO - Johnathan Hankins - The Saints move to a 3-4 means they'll need a NT, and Hankins is well suited for that role.
16. STL - Kenny Vaccaro - The Rams have a nice young front 7, but the secondary needs work. Vaccaro can become an enforcer on the back end for the rams.
17. PIT - Ezekiel Ansah - The Steelers will need to find more pass rushers bcuz Harrison is getting old and they have little behind him. Ansah has great upside.
18. DAL - Johnathan Cooper - The Boys could use some o-line help, and Cooper can play guard or center, and play it very well.
19. NYG - Manti Te'o - Te'o is still a very good prospect despite his "hoax" nonsense. The Giants need a leader in the LB corp.
20. CHI - DJ Fluker - The Bears must get better at the tackle spot. Fluker is a mauler that can play right away.
21. CIN - Sam Montgomery - The Bengals could use more depth at DE, and Montgomery is a solid all around DE.
22. STL - Keenan Allen - The Rams need more weapons for Bradford, and Allen is a big, physical WR that can make plays.
23. MIN - Terrence Williams - The Vikes need a deep threat for Ponder, and Williams can be that guy.
24. IND - John Jenkins - The Colts 3-4 needs a true NT, and Jenkins massive frame and movement will be a great fit.
25. SEA - Tyler Eifert - The Hawks could use more weapons for Wilson, especially at TE, and Eifert is too good to pass on.
26. GB - Shariff Floyd - GB could use more help in the trenches at DE, and Floyd is a disruptive player that can help right away.
27. HOU - DeAndre Hopkins - The Texans need more weapons in the passing game, and Hopkins has a great knack for making plays.
28. DEN - Johnthan Banks - The Broncos must find a replacement for Champ Bailey bcuz he is slowing down.
29. NE - Xavier Rhodes - The Pats could use more talent at CB, and Rhodes is a big, physical player that can jam WR's at the line.
30. ATL - Zach Ertz - The Falcons need to find a replacement for Gonzo some day, and Ertz is too good to pass up.
31. SF - Logan Ryan - The Niners biggest weakness is probably at CB, so they add a talented player that adds nice depth.
32. BAL - Kevin Minter - Minter would be a nice get for the Ravens to help fill the void left by Ray Lewis at ILB. _________________

I like Williams as a prospect for the Vikes but i dont know how we could pass on Banks at that point. My 2 cents. _________________ Can you Stephon Diggs it?!!! |

I agree we need to find a replacement to Gonzo someday. I do not agree Ertz is to good to pass up. I don't see him or eifert as much better than most of the 2nd to 4th round TE's like Escobar, Kelce, Reed, and Fauria.
The falcons have a much bigger need at DE and Okafer is the better value and player.
Think of it this way our offense without gonzo is still a top 5 or so scoring offense even with a mid round TE or WR. That we don't have to worry about as much.
Our problem has been for the last 4 years is getting pressure on the QB and it was again the problem we had this year in the playoffs. It's time that junk is fixed and fixed for good.
D-lineman has to be the pick in the 1st round be it DE or DT if we are going to take the next step on Defense to keep up with our offense.
The only time i see not taking a D-lineman for us in the 1st this year is if some crazy stud like Teo, Ogletree, Jones etc.. falls to us on defense then it's a toss up. _________________

You don't spend a 1st rd pick on a backup defensive end, especially when the guy he is backing up had double digit sacks last year.

My personal preference is for DeAndre hopkins over Terrance williams though I would be happy with either. good pick.
The only true first round needs for MN are LB, DT, WR and S. Everything else can wait. _________________

Come on man. We don't need a NT, especially a fatass that won't last in the league. _________________

Why can't we rely on jason peters to stay healthy? This was his first ever major injury. _________________

The Quincy Black injury certainly leaves things up in the air somewhat, but still on the list of team needs LB wouldn't be all that high. Lavonte David is a future all-pro and Foster is a very solid player. The secondary needs to be addressed early and often. _________________

Cant go mad at that pick. I would rather Jones/Moore/Werner and Jordon but as they are gone Mingo is the next best OLB. _________________
