Defense for Philly, please. I know, I know...everyone mocks Joeckel to the Eagles so it must be real and no need for thought!
Truth is, we're transitioning to the 3-4 and OLB WAAAAY trumps OL as a need for this team, as does CB. Milliner, Jones, or even Mingo would be better picks for the Eagles than Joeckel. Hopefully someone wants to trade up for him, but even if not, I think we need to take a defender! _________________

I prefer Jonathan Jenkins to Jesse Williams, but Williams is a very solid Vikings pick, would bring back a Williams Wall. _________________ Gnat's Movie Reviews

| Sorry- I don't agree with the Bears pick-DT is way down on their priorities! O-Line, LB & TE are more of need! But good try! |

First time I've seen Trufant mocked to the Steelers in the first. He's not a guy that I would like for them to take there. _________________

I think either Okeafor or Jenkins would be great defensive additions for NE. Great job _________________

I would much rather have Jarvis Jones for the Bills. Mingo is more of a 3-4 type and we will be playing more 3-4 4-3 hybrid sets which Jones would be great in both. _________________

Chicago wil not take a DT in the first round. Would prefer a Guard, TE, or Lb. _________________

I wouldnt spend a first round pick on a one technique 4-3 DT, which is essentially what Williams. Simply not a lot of value in that pick for a likely two down player.
I would rather see the pick used on a LB or WR. Arthur Brown, DeAndre Hopkins, Terrance Williams or Quinton Patton would all be better picks. Even a Safety would be a better pick.
To me, first round picks should always be about high upside and impact, Williams wont be that type of player in the Vikings defense where the Vikings third DE (Everson Griffen) comes off the bench to play DT in passing situations. So essentially, Williams might see 25-30 snaps per game. I just dont agree with allocating a first round pick for a player who will see limited playing time. _________________
