| He as a good player when healthy but just couldn't stay on the field. I wouldn't mind the Bengals taking a look at him to play DE for us... |

Seems weird he wasn't offered a pay cut.
I was under the impression Canty was pretty solid for you guys when he played? Unless there is something going on here the Giants know of that we don't, I wouldn't mind the Dolphins taking a look at Canty... seems like he could be good depth, if nothing else.

He was above average when he was healthy but that wasn't often enough to justify the money.
Seems like a good teammate and person so I can't see that being a reason for the cut.
Just the play didn't justify the money.
