| Quote: | 21. Cincinnati Bengals - Alec Ogletree* /OLB/ Georgia:
Fills the stat sheet on a talented Georgia D but is still pretty raw. NFL Comp. Boss Bailey |
That is my concern, and why I'm not sure I want him in 1. We need a guy that can play well right away.
| Quote: | 5. Cincinnati Bengals (OAK) – Jordan Poyer /CB/ Oregon State:
Poyer was one of the best CBs at senior week practices. NFL Comp. Cary Williams |
Not really a need (depending on free agency) but I like the pick anyway.
| Quote: | 23. Cincinnati Bengals – Gerald Hodges /OLB/ Penn State:
A guy really flying under the radar that is extremely athletic and showed some ability at the Shrine to play inside or outside. |
Not sure we need 2 OLBs that early. Again, free agency could change that.
| Quote: | 22. Cincinnati Bengals - Joseph Randle* /RB/ Oklahoma St.:
Quietly stepped up his game in the absence of Weeden and Blackmon. A complete back who should go higher then this. If he continues to get stronger as a pro, he'll be a pro bowl back. NFL comp. softer - DaMarco Murray |
Good pick.
| Quote: | 21. Cincinnati Bengals - Shawn Williams /S/ Georgia:
Testing well will really help his status and solidify him as a mid round guy. Mixed reviews senior week but held his own. |
Good pick _________________ 2013 Draft Needs: RB, Safety. Maybe RT and backup LBs |

Really don't think the Bears can afford to trade up in both of the first two rounds. Although I love the players that you have given us I feel we would be better off trading back in the 1st.
1st (after trading back) - Fluker (OG)
2nd - Ertz (TE) or Long (OT) |

| The only Patriots fan that would like this would probably be NBT and even he would want Terrance Williams in that situation. There is a much greater need on defense, especially getting pressure. The Patriots were the 3rd highest scoring team of all time and broke the record for most first downs, I don't think they lack offensive firepower like you said. |

15. TRADE Chicago Bears (NO) - Lane Johnson /OT/ Oklahoma:
16. TRADE Chicago Bears (STL) – Zach Ertz* /TE/ Stanford:
While the picks are good, we have little ammo to move up(only 5 picks) We're more likely to move down, not up. _________________ Adopt a Bear:

| Not a bad draft for the Saints. I honestly don't know enough about Lemonier to justify the pick. SOLB is a need at this time. Will have to see what he can do at the combine since he didn't get much of a chance to drop into coverage at Auburn. I do like the idea of trading back if Jordan and J. jones aren't there. Lane Johnson could be the pick if Bushrod leaves...or even if Bushrod stays if Payton thinks he can play RT. |

Same this draft hits all needs for us with talent at each position that i think is worth the pick there.
The only pick i might change would be from Escobar in the 2nd round to Sam Montgomery in the 2nd round then a TE in the 3rd round. With that said i actually like Tank Carradine alot as well.
Michaels in the 4th is a pick i absolutely love for our RB position. If he can stay healthy he will be a boss come game time.
With all that said after looking over your complete mock 1 last time. Here is my pick in each position you still have players available.
1st - Brown - im fine with this pick others i might take instead but he is a good player that can upgrade us.
2nd - John Jenkins DT- Amazing value here and the main guy we need to help run our 3-4 / 4-3 hybrid defense.
3rd - Travis Kelce - TE - Good value here for a stud TE with alot of upside.
4th - Christine Michaels - As said love this pick and don't want it changed.
Now if you think Kelce would fall too us in the 5th round in your mock then by all means keep Tank there in the 3rd and give us kelce in the 5th and it would be A+++++++ for this draft all the way around.
If i did that in my draft the way i have it i would then grab the best DE available in FA. _________________

Barkley
Minter
Harper
Jenkins
Is solid with 2 2014 1st round pick |

This kind of move is so Pittsburgh. Manuel can learn behind Ben and take over when it's time. NFL comp. Dante Culpepper

Please explain how you think that?
I sure can't remember the Steelers taking a QB in the top 4 rounds in a long time besides Ben.
Also don't see going 3 of 4 pics on offense. _________________ Stay low boys.... keep those feet moving!

28. Denver Broncos - Eddie Lacy*/RB/ Alabama:
Really don't like this pick, Moreno/Hillman were not the issue this past year, they may add another big back later in the draft but not a first round issue for the Broncos. Short, Floyd, Trufant, Banks, and Rhodes would all be better picks.
28. Denver Broncos – Brian Schwenke /OC/ California:
Not a horrible pick, we need some interior line depth.
28. Denver Broncos – Darius Slay /CB/ Mississippi State:
Solid |

Agreed.
If the Pats come out of the first three rounds with nothing but two receivers, it will be an epic fail.
The Patriots do actually have other needs.
| Quote: | 22. TRADE New England Patriots (STL)- Tavon Austin /WR-RB/ West Virginia:
Painfully clear watching the Patriots playoff loss that Welker is finished and they lack offensive firepower overall. I think BB starts a new trend and again trades up for a guy that can help right away , rather then move back and stock picks. NFL comp. Darren Sprolee |
The Patriots do not trade up "to get their guy." If they trade up, it's for a player who's already fallen far enough. _________________
