As of last month it was reported he still can't walk properly, so yeah, he's never playing again obviously.
He's walking just fine, even running, but he can't get cleared to play football, and for good reason.

Good luck to a good player.

Try law school. Get an MBA.

dudes going to feel that the rest of his life like a screw driver digging through this body. i hear that back pain may be the worst of the worst when it comes to chronic pain. hope he can be normal and pain free long term.

One of the most brutal injuries I've ever seen.

I can definitely attest to the part in bold. I was born with spinabifida and just had my spine fused on January 21st and since then the pain has been utter hell. I've been dealing with muscle spasms that start in my back and shoot to my thighs for the last year and a half, and I thought that was bad haha. Since the surgery I've learned first hand just how devastating spinal cord injuries can feel. I don't exactly remember if the Knox injury was a spinal cord injury, but if it was I can at least somewhat understand how that must feel.

Best of luck Johnny, you played for a division rival but were always pretty fun to watch.

Yes, because that is what the world needs more of.

To bad to see that Knox has to go out like this. Shame too because the guy is such a good talent.

That was horrible. I hope nothing but the best to him.

If I was him I would never come close to a football field, the fact that he tried to comeback is admirable.

From an article on NFL.com

Quote:
Knox has pushed himself in rehabilitation, but he walks with a limp and can't stand comfortably. The only time he's not in pain is when lying down. But he's grateful to have a relatively normal life.

Just tragic. Wish him the best in his future and praying he faces no complications.

I'm so glad nobody posted the .gif of the injury in this topic. Easily one of the worst things I have ever seen in my life.

Yes, Victor Cruz is a bigger asset to a QB than Antonio Brown is. Id be hard-pressed to find many people that would take the latter.
