I thought it was he would work for $1 if the NFL had a lockout in 2011?
but this really isn't news. Definitally worth taking a look at in NFL Gen. _________________

| There are a few things that he has done over the last couple of years that have irked me a bit, I still like him better than other sports commish's but lately he has lost some respect in my eyes. |

He would work for $1 because he obviously doesn't need the money, look how much this fool is getting paid.. _________________

Is job is to make the owners money. He makes the owners a lot of money. He gets paid handsomely for it. Not sure what's surprising about this. _________________

I guess this is one way to pay for that secret service security he needed when he was hanging out in New Orleans during Superbowl week.

| Quote: | | NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell was surrounded by an “iron fence” of security at the Super Bowl — as well as by Defense Secretary Leon Panetta, New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie and Attorney General Eric Holder in his box for Sunday’s game. We’re told Goodell — who was already tightly guarded after alleged threats from unhappy New Orleans Saints fans who believe he ruined the Saints’ season with his yearlong suspension of coach Sean Payton over the team’s bounty program — was feeling even safer thanks to his powerful guests, who were accompanied by their own security plus a fleet of Secret Service agents. |

I'll be in the minority here, but he deserves it.
Whether you like it or not, he's really expanded the game since he took over. He's avoided lockouts, and generally made the league a lot of money.
Plus, he has to deal with all the crap you guys say about him. Let's see you guys work effectively with millions of people screaming at you all day. _________________

Was going to say the same. He's essentially the CEO of a gigantic business. I'm shocked it's only this much. _________________

Could have been more if he didn't downgrade his salary to $1 from March to July of 2011. _________________ Kickers are people too |

I'll never know personally, but what would one do with such a gigantic amount of income? _________________ -Not taking this off until the 49ers win #6 |
