Here's a quick mock draft I put together. It's the first one I've ever posted on here. While I'm not too familiar with the exact order of each team's prioritized needs, I put together what I thought might satisfy/help each team. My knowledge of this year's class isn't too strong and I admit I let a few guys slip (Jones & Jordan) in which I've seen in other drafts and totally disagreed. Also, a few positions such as WR and DT, the top 1 & 2 rated prospects could be flopped where they're selected (For example: Floyd w/ Lotulelei, Patterson w/ Allen). Also, if I had the time/effort to predict trades, many QB's including Geno would be drafted much higher. It's much harder to predict FA so teams such as Tampa could easily sign/trade for a CB and draft another postion so w/o free agency included, here it is:
Kansas City- Luke Joeckel OT
Jacksonville- Barkevious Mingo DE/OLB
Oakland- Shariff Floyd DT
Philadelphia- Star LotuLelei DT
Detroit- Bojoern Werner DE
Cleveland- Damontre Moore DE/OLB
Arizona- Eric Fisher OT
Buffalo- Geno Smith QB
NY Jets- Kenny Vaccaro S
Tennessee- Chance Warmack OG
San Diego- Lane Johnson OT
Miami- Dee Milliner CB
Tampa Bay- Xavier Rhodes CB
Carolina- Cordarrelle Patterson WR
New Orleans- Jarvis Jones OLB
St. Louis- Keenan Allen WR
Pittsburgh- Ezekiel Ansah DE/OLB
Dallas- Jonathan Cooper OG
NY Giants- Datone Jones DE
Chicago- Manti Te'o LB
Cincinatti- Alec Ogletree LB
St. Louis- D.J. Fluker OT
Minnesota- Terrance Williams WR
Indianapolis- Dion Jordan DE/OLB
Seattle- Jonathan Hankins DT
Green Bay- Barrett Jones OG
Houston- DeAndre Hopkins WR
Denver- Jonathan Banks CB
New England- Tavon Austin WR
Atlanta- Sam Montgomery DE
San Francisco- Sheldon Richardson DT
Baltimore- Kevin Minter LB
If you need an explanation, I'll gladly explain each selection. _________________

I'd much rather have Sheldon Richardson for the Vikings, he would be great value and he would fill a need. if they stick with a receiver at 23 I'd rather see DeAndre Hopkins _________________

Yeah it was between Richardson and a WR. I admit it was a toss up and wasn't quite sure if Williams or Hopkins fit your offense better but the two could easily be switched selections in my mock. _________________

Any draft that has Geno Smith to the Bills is an A+ for me. _________________

Richardson fills a position of need and is BPA in my mind. WR isn't bad though. _________________ Gnat's Movie Reviews

I would hate it if the pats went Austin in the 1st... we have Edalmen to replace Welker in the slot if he leaves..
IMO
1.Jesse Williams/best DT available-4 words About. 600. Lb. Bench.
2.Best WR/Wheaton,Hunter- Tall fast vertical threat guy.
3.Best safety available/ Cyprien(if he falls),Swearinger, Duke Williams,Rambo-
Competition for Wilson |

-Thought Bears fans might like the Te'o pick, I think he could be a good replacement for Urlacher and step in day one and produce.
-Glad a Bills fan appreciates the Geno pick, wasn't sure how Buffalo fans would take it. People are on edge with Geno haha
-Floyd is quickly rising up the boards and I can see a top 5 team such as the Raiders snagging him especially if it feels as big of a need as it does for the Raiders.
-As for Austin to the Pats, yeah I was hesitant with the Patriots pick. I was thinking of giving New England an Outside threat at WR but was quick to jump on a replacement for Welker. Cyprien was a close 2nd/3rd option that I was debating on too. _________________

It really isn't though. We're far more desperate for an edge rusher. And Floyd really isn't impressive. He gets completely taken out of as many plays as he makes. Not top 3 worthy imo. He might get hyped but I don't think he even goes top 10. _________________

With the departure of Seymour and potentially Kelly, I would say DT is a need at some point in the draft. Grant it, the Raiders may prefer another DT such as LotuLelei or one later in the draft but I think an interior pass rusher is just as important of a need at this point as an outside rusher is. _________________

| Absolutely no reason why Richardson should fall to 31. I even know scouts who view him as a potential #1 pick. He possesses an extremely rare combination of strength, effort, and productivity, and is just an athletic freak who has a terrific burst off the line. I would like to know why you have him ranked so low, it's bewildering me to be honest. I think he's valued as a top 10 pick now, and his stock should even explode with the upcoming combine that he will demolish. I can't see him falling out of the top 10 in any way and I would be beyond furious if the Giants selected Datone Jones over him. |

Where Richardson is selected doesn't define his value in my opinion, it's one of the many questionable moves that happens year in year out. Personally I didn't do my due diligence in researching and evaluating each position equally such as defensive tackle but from what I do know and have researched I see him as being a top 3 DT of this class behind Floyd and Star. The reason why he slipped past DT needy teams was bc I thought those teams needed to address other positions first. I've yet to see a scout/analyst mock/rank Richardson as the #1 overall prospect. I could see teams like the Titans, Panthers, Giants, and possibly Vikings (as people mentioned above) take Richardson but like I said they have other needs. The Giants seem to re-load and stock up on their outside pass rushers annually a year or two before they lose a current DE to Free agency. I can see Datone Jones replacing J. Tuck, or at the least provide competition for him to produce this year inside and out of the D-line. Jones can come in and start if need be and deffinitely help produce day one. _________________

Other teams such as Seattle who may be DT needy, must fill that role through a different prospect at DT. A bigger body is needed to replace someone like Alan Branch who was an anchor for that front 7 rather than a pass rushing specialist. _________________
