Word just came out we along with Det are the favorites to land Goldson.
Also in the hunt for Cox and Smtih.
We might have a whole new secondary by this time tomorrow

The sources are sketchy at best, but there a few on twitter saying the Vikings are potentially the team that has put up the "good offer".
The Vikings may have the picks to trade for him, but unless the Vikings drop the Cover-2 (which I think they run, still) it doesn't make sense to pay such a heavy price for Revis. |

The eagles even having interest was more speculation than truth. I'm sure Howie asked about him, but I doubt we even made an offer.

Something to keep in mind about the rumors flying about the Jets trading Revis by the end of tomorrow: Only Manish Mehta is reporting this, and, like always, he and the entire NYDN staff is to be taken with a grain of salt.
With rampant speculation the Revis camp is the one pushing these rumors, it wouldn't surprise me one bit if his agents were Manish's "sources". |
