You're so funny. Well, unfortunately for you, Mike Tannenbaum now works for NFL Network. _________________

Ok, Party's over, he's not going any where. He's going to accept a lower extension and we will pretend like this never happened. lol _________________

Bucs are "losing interest" in Revis
http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2013/03/19/bucs-losing-interest-in-revis/
| Quote: | | The biggest takeaway from our first full day at the league meetings in Phoenix is that, with the Jets and Buccaneers taking strong opposing positions as to the trade value of one of the best defensive players in football, the Buccaneers are close to moving on. The belief is that the Jets want a package headlined by a first-round pick, and that the Buccaneers are willing to part with, at most, a 2014 first-round selection. |
Neither GM is budging. But it seems nobody is offering a 1st round pick. A 2014 1st rounder may be the best deal the Jets can get. _________________ -Not taking this off until the 49ers win #6 |

Would the Jets be crazy to accept two 2's?
If he doesn't return to Revis Island and then leaves keeping him will backfire... Even a 2014 1st round pick sets up nicely for them. Great picks and cap space a year from now. _________________

SF is probably the only team that could give him a 1st since they have a 2nd round pick just three picks later. However, they wouldn't be able to give him the contract he wants. Jets are in a tough situation as they don't have much leverage. _________________

| Just keep him. Not tuff at all. Sign him long term. , 13-14 a year for 5years. And trade cromarite next year. He might be the best db , in history. He's a complete corner ,unlike. Prime time he can tackle. Tampa would have a great secoundry if they got him. If revis was not hurt , and jets could use franchise tag on him. They would easily get 2 firsts for a player like him. Theres no player in draft worth more then him this year, last year different story , I would take luck or rg3 . Not this year. . So why not give jets there first pick. For him. |

Revis isn't going anywhere. The Jets want more than anyone is willing to pay, not that I blame them. I'm glad TB played hardball, that defense would be scary with him. I think they made a huge mistake, they should've given up their first this year. _________________

It's actually been said recently that Dom has offered this year's first and we are still were we are. If they want more than this years first with the other compensation. I'm glad we are looking elsewhere. _________________
