We gave up kolb and got DRC and a 2nd.... | Oh that's true, well anyway the Broncos didn't risk anything here. _________________

Harris has already tweeted he's playing the slot this year so he wont be 2. DRC will be. |
That doesn't mean necessarily that Harris is 3. Carlos is our 1 but goes inside the slot in nickel.
I think Harris will be your 2. And be a stud _________________ ***WE RUN THE WEST!***

Wasn't taliking specificaly about DRC, but the all offseason moves.
2 years ago everyone was drooling about how the Eagles were getting a lot of good players and how cheap they were signing them.... _________________

You do make a good point, though. I think that a winning atmosphere can mitigate many of these issues that arise with FA signings. This isn't the case of a bad team trying to get good through FA, but a good team trying to improve without sacrificing the future. Denver isn't building from FA, but from the draft and then supplementing with FA. Maybe I'm just a homer, though _________________

I'm not descrediting the moves, I'm praising them....
It does put Denver on a "win now" mode, but ultimately, that was always going to be the case with Peyton on his final stretch.
The real problem might arise a few years down the road, but if you guys get a SB or two meanwhile, no one will be trully bothered... _________________

You don't build from the draft when your QB was a rookie in the 90's you're not building a long time franchise, you're going after Superbowls right now. Broncos were really good last year and have gotten better. _________________

The real benefit of all the signings (minus Vasquez, sorry Chargers fans) is that they are 1-2 years.
Boltstrikes, I agree with you. Even Elway has acknowledged that the Broncos are essentially in a 2-year window, where they need to win now. _________________

DRC's deal is actually a 2 year $10m contract with the 2nd year voiding if he's on the roster on the 5th day of the 2014 season. His cap hit in 2013 isn't $5m, it's $2.9m. _________________

This.
The Broncos made all of this happen by snagging Mike Sullivan from Ogtagon Sports. Previously negotiating contracts on the players side, now giving the players everything they want in contracts and making them very safe for the team. _________________
