What do you think? I think they'd both be great fits and help this secondary out ALOT.

I really, really hope the Saints don't sign Lewis. Of all the remaining free agents, he might be the one I want most for the Browns. _________________ Cleveland Browns Forum Hall of Fame Inductee |

Never even thought of the Saints as a destination for Nnamdi. I like it actually.
If true of course.

I don't understand why more teams haven't gone hard after Lewis. Or why Pittsburgh didn't try harder to bring him back. I know that money is tight for them, but quite honestly if I was the Steelers and looking long-term, I might prioritize Keenan Lewis over Ike Taylor or Polamalu. He's a legitimate star player. _________________

This title is misleading. Namdi COULD sign with them. |

Keenan Lewis would be a very good signing. Surprised there isn't more interest in him (Granted there might be, just not reported by the media)... |

How do you know they haven't tried??? You don't know what they've done. Taylor and Troy are under contract so what does one have to do with the other? Nothing _________________ Stay low boys.... keep those feet moving!

As a Steelers fan this would be terrible news. The guy finally started to show something this year with Carnell Lake as his DB coach. Hopefully this is wrong and he comes back and is our replacement for Ike. |

How do you know they haven't tried??? You don't know what they've done. Taylor and Troy are under contract so what does one have to do with the other? Nothing | Easy there tiger, no need to get defensive.
And I'm sure they've tried, but they're in a tough position with the cap and may get priced out of keeping Lewis. I don't know specifically what they could have done to free up more money, but I mentioned Taylor and Polamalu because they're older, expensive secondary players who are clogging up cap space and may be contributing factors forcing the exit of a much younger, star-caliber corner.
As the Ravens have so vividly demonstrated this offseason, a player being under contract doesn't mean anything. Move on from the guys you need to, even if it might seem crazy at first. If I'm the Steelers, I'd rather have Keenan Lewis than pray that a 32 year old Troy Polamalu can stay healthy. Might sound radical, but sometimes that's what it comes down to. _________________
