Yeah, they'll move the best DB we had last season (and every year before aside from Sharper in 2009) to nickel and continue starting possibly the worst DB we had last season (Robinson was outplayed by White and Mack). |
P-Rob is our best CB. Greer is far from.
P-Rob, in his first year starting after 2 years of learning our man scheme, had to start in a zone scheme. And he STILL didn't look that far behind.
Do you also forget P-Rob was going against #1 WRs compared to #3 for White & #4 for Mack? Okay then. _________________

| Quote: | | We could have another cornerback exiting the market soon. Adam Schefter is reporting that it’s looking likely that Keenan Lewis will sign with the New Orleans Saints today. Lewis didn’t intercept any balls last year but led the league with 16 pass deflections. We’d expect him to replace Patrick Robinson who led the league in yards allowed into his primary coverage with 1,071 yards. |

And they at least occasionally showed flashes of competence. A move back to man coverage will help PRob, but they gave Greer an extension last season (before his contract was up). I certainly haven't heard any word on a PRob extension. _________________

| Far from best CB? I guess I can understand someone favoring PRob for his athleticism or ball skills or whatever but saying Greer is FAR FROM our best CB is outrageous. |

Far from as in #2.
If you think Greer will be better this year than P-Rob, then you are an idiot. P-Rob will be much better as he has shown slot of strides, just looked a little lost at times. He's ready. But I'd rather Lewis be on #1s and P-Rob on #2s, Greer as a nickel, White & Mack as #3 & #4. _________________

Greer is a BETTER player than P-Rob
Also Keenan Lewis turned down 1.5 million a yr from the Titans and Eagles to come home _________________

Yeah, I'm the idiot for thinking that an above average CB in Greer is better than the guy that was statistically the worst in the NFL last season. _________________

| I think I must be an idiot too. Greer is in the conversation for being a top 10 CB in this league when he's healthy and not being forced into Spags terrible zone D. P-Rob has potential, but that's all it is right now. |

I'm not going to be a sour grapes Steelers fan and pretend that now he sucks. However, I guess good for him for taking less money to go where he wants but I hope he gets burned left and right for leaving my team. _________________

I'm really wondering if the Steelers' front office has gone senile
ridiculous.
congrats to NO. Let him play physical and you should be good to go. _________________
