Want to get a young stud more anyway. Wouldn't mind sending a pick to NO for Ivory if a deal could be worked out (late 3rd or 4th or something). Otherwise I like Lacy, Ball and Christine Michael as well.
Jackson's best days are behind him and he's getting worn down. A cheap 2 year deal would have been decent value, but $4/yr for 3? Not so much. |
Shonne Green got more per year to be a backup in Tenn. |
That was a mistake on Tenn's side. _________________

All that matters is the guaranteed money, if Jackson stays heathy and plays well, he'll earn more. But then he's worth more as well. If not, falcons are on the hook for basically nothing. Saying 4 million guaranteed is too much is just silly. |

Honestly, 3-years, $12M is a steal to me. Perfect fit for an incredible price. _________________

Glad to have him out of the West. Who are the Rams planning on lining up back there now? _________________

Never really thought of Richardson or Pead as #1 backs. You expecting the team to go after Bradshaw or someone in the draft? _________________

I dont think we will go after Bradshaw, but someone in the draft would make sense. Maybe Le'veon Bell, I think he would fit the best. _________________ Robert Quinn

ATL's passing attack should open up running lanes for him. So he should get at least another 1k season. _________________ Robert Quinn

He obviously wanted to come to Atlanta. Indoor stadium, legit superbowl contender and an awesome supporting cast. Go ahead and stack the box and julio roddy and tony g will go off. Focus on out passing attack and Jackson will destroy you. I'm calling it right now Abe will be back before its all said an done with. Grimes is the question mark. Now we don't have to draft a rb and possibly spend our 2nd rounder on a CB. Draft is going to be heavy on the defensive side of the ball. All we need to do is get a speed LB who can cover a TE to compliment Spoon, a big DT to plug the middle, and some pass rushers. We can bring back Abe or bring in Osi and then draft a DE, CB, DT, OLB. Honestly the only offensive position I could see us drafting this year would be TE. Can't wait for this season! |
Well yes, it was very obvious that he either wanted to go to Atlanta or Green Bay, the two contenders who needed a RB the most. |
I suspect he wanted to go to Atlanta all along so he could play all of his home games in a dome like he did for the Rams. _________________

Agreed.
The man still has it easily.
He wasn't getting the ball much to start the season. But then he started getting fed and he was getting his. Just like always.
Falcons got him for a very cheap price. _________________ ***WE RUN THE WEST!***
