As a Rams fan this may come across as bitter, but he isn't worth it anymore. I would rather use the money elsewhere and draft somebody in rounds 2-4. The production would be similar to slightly better depending on who they would draft. The best thing Steven provides at this time in his career is pass protection which don't the Falcons like to use Jacquizz in those situations? _________________

That means very few touches for Jaquizz. He left Stl because he wants to be the man. He left 7 mil on the table. | |

Want to get a young stud more anyway. Wouldn't mind sending a pick to NO for Ivory if a deal could be worked out (late 3rd or 4th or something). Otherwise I like Lacy, Ball and Christine Michael as well.
Jackson's best days are behind him and he's getting worn down. A cheap 2 year deal would have been decent value, but $4/yr for 3? Not so much. |
Shonne Green got more per year to be a backup in Tenn. |
a) no, he didn't
b) Green got overpaid too, comparing it to another bad deal doesn't make it good. |
Correct. I'll grant that Jackson isn't nearly as overpaid as Greene, but they're both overpaid. |

That is really hard to look at, he has been such a staple of this organization. Falcons you got an awesome player. He is such a good fit for your organization and in so many different ways. _________________ LANCE KENDRICKS 42 RECEPTIONS 519 YARDS

A.) I don't think he gets 1k
B.) They could still probably draft L. Bell in the 3rd are get similar production.
I love Steven for what he did for the Rams, but he doesn't have it anymore. He is just average as far as HBs go. _________________

I don't do sig bets so no. I think he will either get hurt or the Falcons will see that he shouldn't be getting 20 carries a game by mid season and cut his touches. _________________

| I don't see how this could be an overpay as other have suggested. He only has $4 million guaranteed, if he plays terrible (which he won't) he could easily be jettisoned after one season for a small cap hit. |

A rookie Rb could produce as much as him in the run game, but would be unable to compare to him in pass pro and receiving.
Edit: double posted somehow, opps

I would have been mad if the Rams paid him that. But it makes more sense for Atlanta. _________________

The last time he didn't make it to that mark he was a rookie plus being behind, sorry St. Louis fans, that horrible offensive line he still made it to 1,000 |
