Why go to Seattle for less and to be a rotation player ?? |
Because we're awesome. And he'll likely start. |
Really..?
Who'd be on the other side of Bennett...? Clemmons, Irvin, or Avril (assuming Bryant moves to DT)?
Either way, I'd think being a "starter" on this offense would be merely a formality, he's still going to get much less play-time since he'll likely be rotated every few plays. |
Clemons is injured so who knows when he'll be back. Irvin and Avril will open the year as the LEO's and both will play DE on passing downs. Bennett is likely to move to UT on those same downs so he won't have to be taken out. |
The main things these signings give us are options and versatility. Two aspects this defense did not have from a pass rushing stand point this year. We can get creative now. Opposing offenses are going to have worry more about where they'll line up and play than the seahawks are |

If Clem can make it back....
Clem Bennett Scruggs Avril thats pretty nasty on passing downs, with a sprinkle of Irvin for some flava! _________________ L.O.B.- D!CK, BOOM BOOM, ET, BB. |

I think that Pete wants to light a fire under Big Red to see if he can return to his 2010 self. If Bennett fits in Seattle, he will get paid! _________________
