Not at all. He is pretty bad. Can't catch, can't out run anyone, and he sure as hell can't out jump anyone. Only thing he is good for is he can take a bubble screen and get a big gain out of it if he has proper blocking.
They would have been better off trying to sign David Nelson from us. _________________

I wonder why BB signed him then? I wonder if he had access to any film on him?
I did not think nelson was a Bill anymore? |

I did not think nelson was a Bill anymore? | nelson is an FA ... Jones while I don't think he is a good WR will probably look good with Brady throwing him the ball. But 50 catches is a bit crazy. He was non existent for multiple games at a time. _________________

Yeah DJones! As a fellow proud Youngstown State Alum, I approve of this signing 100%. I imagine his numbers will only increase jumping from that bum Fitzpatrick to a hall of famer like Tom Brady

Well he got 43 in 12 games with Fitz throwing him the ball. I would not think 50 is much of a stretch considering how often the pats toss the rock |

He was always single covered, he doesnt seperate well and doesnt have great hand. Dont forget he disappears for multiple games at a time. He will be a solid 4th or 5th option but thats about it. _________________

If pats fans are expecting more than 20 catches and 2TD's at most from the #4/#5 position, you're expecting too much.
He's not a deep threat, he's not out jumping anybody, he can't catch a cold barefooted in Alaska. What he's good at is taking short passes and turning them into big YAC plays. But he didn't even do that all that much.
I mean the Bills cut him and we have NOBODY at WR other than Stevie, that should say something. _________________

I'll be looking forward to seeing what he can do in a Patriots uniform. If there's any team that he should be able to succeed with it should be them. We'll have to wait and see, but history seems to play in his favor. If it doesn't work out it's not a big deal. They didn't invest much in him. _________________

I wonder if this closes the book on the Emmanuel Sanders to the Pats talk? I kind of hope not. _________________

They signed Jones before they brought Sanders to town, so no it doesn't. |
