The good thing is, at his size, I'm sure he's pretty slow coming out of his backpedal. |

BenVolinPBP I've got #Dolphins with a little more than $17 million in cap space after Keller. Jake Long might want to take their money before it's gone
By the new CBA it looks like we are still forced to spend right? |

So the Jets take away another weapon for Sanchez and that is suppose to help him and that offense in general how? Good signing by Miami. At least they understand that you "try" to surround your young up and coming Franchise QB with some legit weapons. Kudo's for doing the complete opposite of the Jets and Sanchez. Way to learn from others mistakes. _________________

1. If you have a better idea on March 15th (41 days before the draft) I'm all ears ... err eyes.
2. I'd hardly call 4 players half of a roster

This team needed to fill some holes elsewhere, and have the cap room to do so. They have a RB, and they'll probably eye a T in the draft, so I call this offseason a fairly smart offseason.
Much of this hinges on Mike Wallace, but Keller is a solid pickup. He should be able to do work in the seams and within a 5-15 yard range, inside the hashmarks with Davone Bess. Brian Hartline works outside the hashmars in that 5-15 yard range, Wallace takes the top off in and outside the hashmarks...
Good options for Tanny, this should play out well...if it plays out well. (If that makes sense...) |
Reports are saying that Long is leaving St. Louis without a deal _________________

Wasn't Jake Long a top 3 LT couple years ago? _________________

| That was a couple of years ago. Since then he's been more human and ended the last two years on the sidelines. That, plus a pretty flooded free agent tackle market, have reduced his real world market value. |

You realize do realize other teams have had more FA acquisitions than the Dolphins this year, right?
The Seahawks, 49ers, Eagles, Broncos just to name a few...
This is a good pickup. |
This isn't even true. Seattle has 2 free agent signings and San Fran has like 1. The Phins are definitely one of the more active teams. _________________

Maybe so, but I love how 4 signings is considered major movement.... _________________

I love how the only people I see throwing the words ''Dream Team'' around are Eagles fans.
Miami is faaaar from being a dream team. The only addition we've made is Wallace so far. The three other signings we made we're to replace players we lost/released.
Eagles fans trying to get another team to fall into the trap that is the ''dream team'' so they can get some slack. Not happening. _________________

| He's a great safety net for a young QB. He isn't going to offer much of anything else outside of that though. |

Nothing like your favorite players going to a rival team, huh? That year of JT in NY was torture. |
Told ya already, JT only went to the Jets to Sabotage them. _________________

Considering you have 22 starters, those 4 new signings are a little under 20% of your two units combined. Obviously you guys aren't doomed, but history shows us that kind of turnover does not always lead to success. _________________
