He'd just be another slot WR for New England.
Get Brady a #1 WR. They should look to trade up and get either Patterson or Keenan Allen. _________________

Meh, I think the Ravens are in the lead for that title. _________________

I don't want him to go anywhere, but at the same time; this draft is deep. Sanders has shown potential, but often injured and making mistakes lately.
Cotchery is a dependable receiver and Plexico might still have something left in the tank. Pittsburgh might let him walk if the price is too high and just use that pick to grab Ryan Swope. _________________ Come Follow My Oakland Multi-Sport Franchise! |

Yeah, the Steelers should really hope the Pats make a move. They'd get a 3rd in a deep WR class to replace him with a guy on a cheap 4 year deal. Knowing how the Steelers do business, they wouldn't want to pay him next year anyway. The best comp pick they'd get in that case is at the bottom of the 3rd and for Sanders, they wouldn't get that. _________________

Meh on both accounts. Steelers and Ravens do things right. They will absorb and move on as usual. Year after year the media chirps about teams like the Steelers and Ravens doing nothing in the off season and yet every year they are competitive. _________________

Exactly. I'm not the least bit excited over Mike Wallace leaving, because I know they aren't going to miss a beat. I get the same feeling with Keenan Lewis as well, though I'm holding out hope for that one. _________________

I never hear anything but praise for how the Steelers and Ravens FO operate in the media, if anything they very seldom even get questioned.
(no counting how they handled the Lewis and Ben legal issues) |

Yeah, #1 WRs grow on trees,
I like this if they can get him for 3 years 10 mill. He only got tagged at the 1 mill level so that is like paying him 4.5 each for the last 2 years. Say a 3 mill bonus and 3 mill salary the fist year. A reasonable contract, the steelers may match as it is only a 4mill cap hit. |
