I wanted him in Pittsburgh.
He isnt great, but I wouldve loved to see John Mitchell attempt to mold him and have him compete for the starting job.

He's a solid addition. One of the big reasons we were #1 against the rush last year.

He's a solid addition. One of the big reasons we were #1 against the rush last year. |
He's not a pass rusher by any means but he holds well at the point of attack. He was, like eggy said, a HUGE reason we did so well against the run last year.

He is great at what he does, occupying blockers. He's not going to give you anything else, but he will be great at that.
What he does will rarely show up in the stat sheet.

Just broke my heart.. If there was one player I wanted Pittsburgh to at least bring in for a workout it was Miller. Always believed he was best suited for a 3-4. He's a hard worker.
Had an email chat with him pre draft, he also felt at the time he was best suited for a 3-4. Regardless he works hard and has a great motor. Good signing Jacksonville, whether its as a starter or rotation/depth.
I was hoping the Steelers bring him in an experienced pro that would play hard and play a role similar to Chris Hoke did previous or even back to a guy like Kemo Von Olhoffen before we transitioned to Big Snack.
