I wanted him back as a rotational DT. You guys got a good player. One thing to watch though. He was bad before Schiano got here. _________________

because fans on footballsfuture represent the opinion of the whole fanbase?
look on actual buccaneers forums if you want to see what people think of Roy Miller |

Either way, don't talk like that about fanbases on footballsfuture. This isn't the place for that. _________________

so....bucs fans on FF don't represent the opinion of the whole fanbase, bucs fans on another forum do. seems logical enough. _________________

Don't know a lot about him to be honest but sounds like he's a good run stuffer. Should be a perfect fit for our defensive scheme. _________________

people on footballsfuture are a small subsection of fans who have a deeper interest in football compared to the average fan
other forums are more representative of the average fan who don't have the same level of football knowledge
the average tampa fan thinks that Mike Alstott should be a hall of famer, and that Roy Miller sucks because he doesn't have 10 sacks, the average footballsfuture buc fan isn't that ignorant |

Miller is a good starting NT. He occupies blockers, but is not good in pass rush situations. We struggled figuring out what to do with him for 3 years, but looked good last year! _________________

| Really good guy, sad to see him go... wish him the best. He was a bet on and off before Schiano came, but really excelled stuffing the run this year. Good rotational DT and great guy to have in the locker room. |

Like everyone else has said, very underrated run stopper. What makes this even more difficult for us Bucs fans is that he is the 3rd player out of our front 7 to leave us in a matter of weeks. So there goes our #1 run game and we haven't done anything in our horrible secondary except get another safety. Really hope they have a plan.....
Oh and if you have a speedy OLB(dont know anything about your LBs), get ready for them to have a great season. |

Am I the only one who thinks 70% of the reason the Bucs run defense was "good" last year is because their pass defense was one of the worst I've ever seen? Why run when you can just pass the ball at will like you're playing catch in your backyard?
Miller is decent but I wouldn't expect him to be anything more than an average starter. _________________ GO SEAHAWKS GO!

They're overrated & not making the Playoffs next season.
8-8 or 9-7 best for Seattle. (& No Playoffs) |
