Oh well.
There goes another Steeler jersey I own.

Worst off-season I can remember as a Steelers fan. The return of crappy veterans to fill depth positions is compounded by the loss of 3 young promising Steelers... The team actually tried to get young and then got older...
Should've just let the young guys get involved and test the waters ecause we weren't going to compete anyway. _________________

A 3rd for Sanders? IMO, Steelers got the better deal. _________________

Don't forget that your rival won the Super Bowl too

A guy who just 2 years ago they saw as better than their current #1 but then he got injured, and is far and away the best route runner on the team for a 3rd that probably wont see the field for 2 or 3 years?! Yeah better deal... _________________

I stand by my opinion. In this draft, they got the better deal. Especially considering they would have had to re-sign him next year anyways. _________________

Good point... and since he went to SMU I am sure he'd want to be closer to home and become a Cowboy. Seems to be the trend _________________ Stay low boys.... keep those feet moving!

Who is going to available at the end on the 3rd that will be a better player in the immediate than Emmanuel Sanders? This is a no brainer deal for us, he can start right away. _________________

In this WR class? Who knows which WR will be available but I'd say one of Stedman Bailey, Chris Harper, Quinton Patton, Markus Wheaton or Da'Rick Rogers. And some other people are partial to Aaron Dobson. _________________

I am not too concerned.
DX's knees are going to keep him within the Bolt's price range. |
I agree, I just hope no team manages to outprice us somehow. |
I hope he can stay healthy, but I agree. I think the NFL views Alexander differently than the average fan. A lot of risk involved to offer him any kind of big money or guaranteed money for that matter.
Just look at Robinson with Jags last year. |

Most of those will be long gone by the time we pick late in the 3rd. Others won't be ready to play on Sundays to the same standard or won't be the fit Sanders if for our team - plus he as the return ability we're obviously coveting. I know it's a deep class, but with our record of developing receivers - I'm taking a young NFL ready talent in FA every time. _________________
