He's alright. Wasn't the Rams best. _________________

He is signing for ST and as an emergency backup. CJ Spillman would start over Dahl if it came down to it. _________________

I will pray that Dahl is the starter for San Fran, but I know Harbaugh isn't that dumb. _________________

YYYYYYYYYYYYEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
.....I just noticed yrba beat me to the punch with my favorite photo of Craig Dahl....which is......
THIS ONE!
Although, when you think about it...Craig did show up to play against the 49ers both times they faced off. Too bad Harbaugh didn't watch film of of the Rams vs Patriots game to get some awesome highlights of Craig covering the offensive guard on 3rd and long. _________________

So much win. LOL. Reminds me of Kelly Jennings or Brian Russell. You must be ecstatic. _________________ [quote="aceinthehouse"]

That picture is all types of win. For those that don't understand, they were using bracket coverage. Dahl was supposed to be over the top with Laurinaitis in trail position. Instead, Dahl randomly decides WHILE THE BALL IS IN THE AIR to undercut the route while running towards the opposite sideline.
And the word undercut isn't really the right word because that implies he was trying to make a play on the ball...nay...he never seemed to figure out that the ball was in the air and instead was running around like a chicken with his head cut off.
This left Laurinaitis 1 on 1 with Fitz in the late 4th quarter of a game where the Rams were leading(in 2011). Fitz went up over Laurinaitis and caught the TD that won the game...not much James could do. Then again, the odds that Dahl makes a play on the ball if he's in position are like 150,000,000 to 1.
But it helped us secure the #2 pick and make that RGIII trade so I guess it was a good thing. _________________

This is the same guy that opened up a huge hole for Adrian Peterson to run an 82 yard touchdown against the Rams right?
I'm so sorry San Francisco. I just can't find anything positive out of this signing, other than a few good laughs from Rams, Cardinals and Seahawks fans... _________________

Maybe Jims tired of coaching in the postseason? _________________ Posted September 12th, 2012

It's a special teams signing. Apart from Andy Lee, the 49ers special teams were awful last season. _________________ 49ers |

yep. he was brought in to compete for a job. not going to be a starter and I have serious doubts that he even makes the roster tbh
little guaranteed money, so low risk. worst case we get some info on the lambs _________________
