I think he could be a good fit there. Good veteran presence as well.

Looks like we traded Burnett for Wheeler, lol.

Burnett is still a very good linebacker. Good pickup by a team that is desperate for defensive playmakers.

Beyond excellent at covering TE's. That was his only role on the team though.

That is good because Bears fans said that Nick Roach has the inability to cover TE's Laughing

I'm thinking the Raiders will use Roach as MLB where he won't need to be in coverage as much, and Burnett as the WLB.

Yeah, Roach pretty much said he was the MLB. Not sure who's playing where on the outside though. Burris, Maiava and Burnett will compete for those 2 spots.

Raiders needed an underrated ILB for their new 3-4. Well, they got it.

Nothing has been reported as far as a switch to the 34 and honestly, signing Roach to play in a 34 wouldn't make much sense.

Nice signing imo.

Burnett isnt great, but hes solid. Plus hes a vet that could bring some leadership to a brand new defense. Were hurting for even below average defenders so Burnett is a welcomed addition.

Happy to see him get a new deal so early. He deserves it. The guy can still play.

I do not see a single scenario where Burnett won't get one of those two spots, unless he gets injured... he is by far the best Linebacker on your team. Its between Burris & Maiava at SLB imo.

Good signing for the Raiders... But they need to be focusing on improving their secondary. Because right now it's beyond bad. I wonder if they will take Dee Milliner in the 1st round? They should also go after Tracy Porter IMO. Can be had for cheap.
