Very good move by the Rams, in the right system Jake Long can still be elite. _________________

Does that mean that the Rams won't shop him though? |
I think if the Rams got an offer, they'd consider it.
IMO, it'll be Winston. But that's just a guess. | How much do you think it would take to get him? |
I'd want a 2nd or a 3rd at worst(probably would want another pick with the 3rd). Can't speak for the Rams though. They might be willing to settle for a 3rd or even less.
He's a young LT who has shown the ability to be a top 10 player at his position when healthy. Durability is his biggest question mark.
Certainly wouldn't trade him cheap. Too talented. _________________

I love it. None of these NFCW Pass rusher, will touch Bradford.
 |
They will with justin smith holding. |
Everyone that talks about the justin smith factor conviently forgets aldon had a torn labrum in his shoulder, which happened in the miami game
http://www.footballsfuture.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=517247
But in csse you cant tell, that gif is aldon completely owning long... get used to it. Aldons reach is too long, long cant get his hands on him if hes fully extended _________________

Ouch nvm then
On a more serious note, thats a great signing for the rams instantly makes their entire o better, esp the run game. Im excited for the season to start. I want everyone to know by theend of the year who is the best team in the nfcw. Gonna be some battles, as their should be _________________

No way I trade a second round pick for an offensive lineman unless I am certain that he can stay healthy. Durability is one of the most important considerations for when evaluating offensive lineman, |

Just want to say thanks to the Miami fans! You cats are as classy as they come.
now onto the rams.... Is anyone else worried about all the holes we have? SS, FS, RB, WLB, SLB and at least two wide out slots...not to mention a guard spot could use an upgrade....that's a lot of holes for one draft.
And I really want chance in the first.. _________________

Still say that if you want to draft a guard, you should hold out for Kyle Long, for obvious reasons. |

I don't consider RB, or WLB holes. We have JLD and I think Pead/Richardson/Ganaway could be effective though if we draft a back I'd certainly understand.
I think we draft 2 WR and 2 DBs. The FO has shown that they trust themselves in the draft and have no problem giving major minutes to rookies. Plus if we use Cook at WR/TE hybrid then I think we only need to use one high pick on a receiver. A rotation of Cook, Givens, 1st Rounder, Quick, and Pettis would be the best Bradford has ever had. _________________

I would love Long for the same obvious reasons. If only they were all starters on the same side of the ball. _________________

I think the Rams are headed in the right direction and are going to be a solid team this year if they can get two starters with their two 1st round picks. The only reason I'm not high on them is because they are stuck in the NFC West with the 49ers and Seahawks, both of which look to be powerhouses this year. I could easily see them going 9-7 and missing the playoffs. _________________ With much cheese,

I wouldn't trade a pick that high for him. He's due to be an UFA after this season. With his durability concerns, why not just wait until he's a free agent next season? Unless the Rams would accept a lower round pick for him... _________________
