Stritch yall are killing me this year bro. I just can't understand taking a player that will be a need next year and will be like 3rd string or so this year while he learns. Over a player that we have absolutely no starters at this year and is a need this year.

Here is our defensive depth chart look at how sad it is and tell me we don't need defensive players in the 1st 3 rounds to start THIS SEASON not next like TE would be.

LDE Kroy Biermann Jonathan Massaquoi
DT Jonathan Babineaux Travian Robertson
DT Corey Peters Peria Jerry
RDE Cliff Matthews
OLB Sean Weatherspoon Robert James
MLB Akeem Dent
OLB Stephen Nicholas
RCB Robert McClain
LCB Asante Samuel Dominique Franks
SS William Moore
FS Thomas DeCoud Charles Mitchell

DE - 3 DE on the roster and all 3 were 5th round plus players. Biermann is the only one with starting experience.

DT - Decent depth here although we have to have a 3-4 NT come in this year from the FA or Draft none of those guys can do it.

LB - We need a legit OLB/ILB to come in here and help this group badly as well.

FS - Were solid here nothing real big needed Pro bowl starter and solid depth we drafted.

SS - We could use a depth pick later although we are known to get a vet SS backup every year in FA for cheap. Maybe Chris Hope comes back.

CB - We have 3 CB on the entire team. All 3 are talented but we could probably use 1 or 2 to come in and fight for a starting spot. If Grimes comes back then we could hold off till later on CB probably for a depth move.

So as you can see our defensive front is in shambles right now where as we have starters and good depth all along the offensive side of the ball.

Not saying don't grab a offensive player at all in the draft maybe a good #3/4 WR, A TE with some upside later in the draft like 3rd to 5th round pick that will be 3rd or 4th string this year, maybe a RB or lineman.

But for the 1st few rounds we have to have defensive help and they need to be starter quality talent.

With the 1st pick there for the Falcons im looking at Jessie Williams at NT. Seeing as we don't even have one to help run our 3-4 defensive looks.

Considering your pic is of Milliner I would hope not lol! But honestly I was toying back and forth between the Eagles and Lions. I think one gets Milliner and the other gets Fisher. But I feel Fisher maybe the Eagles pick because they need a LT. And I agree about Moore, I once upon a time had him 2 to Jacksonville. He was terrible at the combine and his pro day so he's a steal in round two for you guys.

Lol hey man I know I know. The defense is bad. But not many people can name your backup TE either lol. No offense. But I'm back and forth on you guys' picks. I like Collins in round two for you guys too. I also think Jesse Williams would be a solid pick, Sylvester Williams too. For now though, I'm giving you guys Eiffert because that offense could be even more lethal than it already is. 2 TE 2 WR 1 RB set (Roddy, Julio, S Jax, Gonzo, and Eiff) man that's pretty dang good for a super bowl run next year (especially against teams like Houston and New England).

Barkley? I feel Nassib is better though man. Plus you got his coach so Marrone would be the one to make it all work!

Nassib is Fitz 2.0

Barkley fits the WCO we'll run and Marrone praised him a lot during college.

I don't think Teo is the right linebacker for Minnesota. I'd prefer Ogletree there with Arthur Brown already gone.

Yeah but you can't count on the offense to put up 40 every game while our defense is allowing 35+ every game XD

Think of it like this even without Eifert or Gonzo if both were not on the team we still have Michael Palmer who is a solid TE. Also Chase Coffman who's upside is actually really good and learned under Gonzo last year and will again this year.

Their not all stars but their not bad either at TE depth. But still without either Gonzo or Eifert on the team we are still a top 10 offense putting up 23+ a game i would say.

Without any really good defensive talent added early we are a bottom 5 defense how we set probably allowing as much as our offense can put up.

I'd be content with this. Especially love the Hopkins pick.

This. And I'd prefer just about anyone over Hunt in the 2nd.
