Just because your team signed a player at a certain position does not mean they should not look to get the same position in the draft.

TRADES:
• Arizona trades to #1 to grab the #1 QB in the class (1.2 for 1.7, 2.6, 2014 1st) – I am finding it hard to accurately gauge what the deal is with Geno. I definitely do not think he is deserving of going super high, but after his pro-day and the interest many teams are showing, I think he might end up going really high and so a trade down is definitely a real possibility for the top teams. As for why it is Arizona and why 1.2 and not 1.1, I will say that I think Arians will be most desperate to get himself a QB and KC is very unlikely to grab a QB this year, so they are not a major threat to grab Geno at #1. While Jacksonville has shown enormous interest, I do believe it is smoke or at least not real enough that they would pass on a nice deal to move down in the top 10 and accumulate draft picks.
• Miami jumps the Chargers to get the #3 OT in the class (1.10,3.8 for 1.12,2.24) – Pretty apparent why this move make sense for Miami, and for Tennessee it also makes sense because there is no one they really should want that SD is really a threat to grab.

I can't really complain about any Vikings picks, with that said, I hope they go LB somewhere in first three rounds.

So the Bengals draft 2 OT's and 0 safeties or RB's?

Give the Bengals Cyprien and Bernard in the 2nd. Or if Andre Smith doesnt resign, keep Fluker and go with Bernard then Swearinger in the 3rd.

1: Chance Warmack OG
2: Johnathan Cyprien SS
3: Sylvester Williams DT

I would cry tears of joy if the Cowboys drafted this. Spot on. I might change Cyprien with Swearinger, but either would be fine with me.

Neither of the first two picks for the Bills are terrible, but I think you're reaching a bit for needs on both of them. Bills have enough holes that you can find needs at most any position, and there's better value at both positions available.

Still, with a QB premium, you can at least justify Barkley, although I would go in a different direction. Still, Pugh is a big reach even if you're as low on Larry Warford as you seem to be. I would take Warford before Pugh in a heartbeat, but there's better value to be had here if we go in another direction.

Hunter in the third would be a steal, and is the right pick in that scenario, but I find it hard to imagine he falls that far.

Not a fan of Manuel, but I understand the pick...I would honestly look long and hard at taking both Banks and Jamar there in the second, as we only have 2 corners on the roster, third round is fine, he fits that RT in the zbs, but Swearinger fits Bradley's criteria more, and fills a large need as well.

Good draft for the Vikings. I would be very happy with that. I would probably take Banks over Trufant. But, it would be a CB. Banks fits our system better... Nice job..

The Steelers offense sure would get a boost with those first two round picks. I would be happy with that. Rambo's off the field baggage concerns me. He's the type of ballhawk the Steelers need in the secondary though.

For the Falcons i would give this draft a C

I'll give you credit you actually hit on 3 positions of need. Thats why it wasn't an F grade Smile

The problem is i don't see how Short can hold up as the NT in a 3-4 front. So that makes him not a good choice for us. We need a guy who can be the centerpiece NT in a 3-4 front scheme as well as being a nasty run stuffer on 1st or 2nd downs in the 4-3 run defense as well. We have numerous of guys like Short on the team already in Babs, Peters, Jerry, and Travian. We don't have a 3-4 NT which hurt us big time last year when we did our 3-4 fronts and has been said we want to run more of by Nolan who is a 3-4 Guru.

Simon i don't mind to much although i think we could have gotten much better of a player than Simon at that pick. He just doesn't seem that impressive overall. But it's a solid pick so not gonna blast it to much it's a need and a player that i can see TD picking.

Tyrann Matthieu - Lord knows i love the kid as a playmaker. Problem there is their is probably less than a 1% chance he ever becomes a Falcon. His off field and character issues have pretty much guaranteed TD won't pick him. Under dimitroff we haven't once in all the picks we have had taken a player with off field issues thats been arrested. It sucks seriously when we miss out on players i like because of it but hey it is what it is and it's what dimitroff does.

Here is a better draft for you with who you have available to us.

1st - Jessie Williams - 3-4 NT and a beast of a D-lineman can play any type of DT spot that Nolan puts him in on our 3-4 4-3 Hybrid defense we run. The major piece we need to run it correctly. Plus he fixes our atrocious run defense from last year.

2nd - Darius Slay - Here is a Cb with more upside than most Cb's in this draft has a squeaky clean character that i can remember. Just seems like a perfect fit as far as CB's and type of players go for us. Plus his value here is way better than Simons.

3rd - Sean Porter - Outstanding OLB than can play the coverage and run just as well as each other. Our OLB core needs a serious shot in the arm and is almsot single handidly what caused us to lose the 49ers game and almost cost us the seahawks game. TE's were killing us back there.

Next pick would probably be a DE or 3-4 olb of some type and us grabbing osi and maybe abe if he wants to come back but atleast 1 of the 2 in FA.

The niners draft is very logical, and I couldn't hate it if it fell that way, but I'm not overly high on any of those guys at that draft slot outside of Williams. I think poyer would be unlikely for the niners; they prefer bigger, more physical corners. Wilson would be the more likely pick over poyer I think, though I'm not really a fan of either at 34

Pretty bad draft for the Titans. We're reaching for Werner and Amerson. Rather get Richardson in the 1st and and Tank Carradine with our 1st 2nd round pick. With the second 2nd round pick, go with Warford to complete the O-Line. I like Winters pick with our comp pick but with the redraft of Warford, no need for another OG that high. Rather get the best available WR, CB, or LB.
