Hes had horrible success with DA, McCoy, and Weeden because they would throw him hospital balls which would lead to concussions. I feel sorry for him if his next stop is with Gabbert. Hes a decent player and a class act. I wish him well.

I'd be surprised if the Jags went into the season with Gabbert as their starter.

Then you haven't been hearing our FO....Gabbert will have to earn his spot, but right now is the starter.

I recall him flashing some in his time with the Browns... but never really developed any sort of consistency. He'll be a decent #4 receiver for the Jags... not bad depth.

It all depends if they draft a QB in the first two rounds. If they do, whoever they draft will "compete" with Gabbert, but will ultimately win baring huge suckage (similar to Weeden "beating out" Colt McCoy last offseason). If they don't draft a QB, Gabbert will almost certainly be the starter.

He can be solid when healthy
hey now!

He's a good WR, but as it has been mentioned a dozen times, he's fragile. If he played 14+ games, I'd expect good things out of him.

Unless we draft Geno or trade for a vet, he is going to be our guy

Get a QB, Jacksonville!

That offense will be unreal when they do.

And fix the o-line...and by that time, replace MJD.

Think they'd trade away MJD if they got a nice return?

Si, but he needs to show he is healthy before that is even discussed.

I think so, but I wouldn't expect anyone to come knocking. I'm not sure there's much of a market for a 28 year old back, coming off foot surgery, in the final year of his deal, who was looking for a big raise last year.

He's a nice #2 or #3 WR to have on your team. You don't want to have him as your #1 recieving option though.
