Seahawks brass doing some traveling for draft scouting, but everything still points to Tyler Thigpen visiting and signing there soon enough

The title essentially says we signed him and he hasn't even visited Laughing

Anyways, La Canfora got lucky on this one. I actually don't hate Thigpen.

The only QB I've seen that we signed was Josh Portis.

I'm not sure how he still gets interest. He is wildly inaccurate. Bills fans never wanted him in no matter how bad Fitz played.

I Love Thiggy. He may not be a very good quarterback, but I would take him over what we have had since we left. Definitely over Croyle and Palko and he was much more exciting to watch than Cassel or Quinn.

I wish him the best!

God Thigpen was terrible, for as inaccurate as Fitz was, Thigpen was 2x as bad. I don't know how Chan is just a magnet for inaccurate passers. No idea why we let VY go after he (IMO) pretty clearly beat Thigpen in camp for the back-up job.

Doubt he makes it through the pre-season TBH. He's just not talented.

I've always liked him, but outside of 2008, he really hasn't done much.

Still, mad props for him making it this far being a former 7th round pick!

Thigpen is living the dream. Easiest job in sports. 7th rd pick to professional journeyman backup QB.

Even though its not sports related, he still has to move himself (and his family?) around the country to play for all these different teams.

Think about it. He's moved from (in just the NFL):

Minnesota
Kansas City
Miami
Buffalo
Seattle

That looks to me like the biggest downfall of being a journeyman backup QB.

I am ok with this signing who cares who the backup is if you lose your starter for a significant amount of time your most likely screwed anyways.
