Even though its not sports related, he still has to move himself (and his family?) around the country to play for all these different teams.

Think about it. He's moved from (in just the NFL):

Minnesota
Kansas City
Miami
Buffalo
Seattle

That looks to me like the biggest downfall of being a journeyman backup QB.


Some young people may cherish this opportunity to live all over the country.

Kind of surprised to see Bills fans call him terrible. In Kansas City he came in and played about 8 or so games for us and actually made the season watchable.

He was bad in Buffalo. So bad that Fitzpatrick played with cracked ribs because, it seemed that the coaching staff didnt trust thiggy.

Not sure why this was reported as news, nothing has been said by local beat writers about a visit. Just that Portis is expect to rejoin the team and we are working out Matt Scott....

yeah, Clinton Portis would be a better option as your #2 than Thigpen.
