Solid re-signing. Didn't seem worth the 11th Overall selection early on in his career, but he was only 20 when he was drafted and he's really come on leaps and bounds recently.
San Fran gets to keep their O-Line in tact, which isn't good for the rest of the league. _________________ Adopt-a-Patriot '14: Danny Amendola Status: Allegedly Deflating Balls On The Sideline |

Yeah I was so disappointed when we traded up to draft him (I wanted earl Thomas), but last year he got a ton better. He should continue to improve. Now time to lock up iupati! _________________

Please be a reasonable contract around $7m per year. I know Andre Smith is going to want similar money... |

He's gotten better every year after the rough start, so even though I would have preferred a deal for Kaepernick/Smith/Iupati first, I'm happy with this
I'm sure the terms of the deal are fair _________________

Doubt 49'ers would give him crazy money. _________________

As stated above, only 17 mil guaranteed. Andre smith can't expect much more. Good signing for the Bengals to justify their position. _________________

He has gotten a lot better but still love playing against him. Long vs Davis for 5 more years

I noticed his pass blocking was getting better last year. Still needs to improve but it's a good sign that he wants to get better. |

Yup, that's how I took it too. Plus they're roughly the same age. Makes the Bengals look worse for taking him when they did. I couldn't believe they didn't take Monroe. |
