Nelson tore his ACL last season, probably why it took him awhile to sign with a team.

He's got a hot wife. There, I said it. That has more impact than the actual signing. _________________

Could be very underrating signing. Will be missed. _________________

Yeah, between him and Donald Jones, he was definitely the WR whose departure bothered me more. |

So brave.

He had 61 catches in 2011.
Browns' leading receiver last year had 50.
I think he'll have an impact for a team that needed a WR. |

Solid signing. Was injured last year but had a very respectable season the year prior. Could be a good third or fourth option for the Browns. _________________ Cleveland Browns Forum Hall of Fame Inductee |

Retarded move by Nix not keeping Nelson. If he is fully recovered than should be solid underrated signing |

Honestly a bit heartbroken. David was one of my favorite Bills. Always came up big when it counted. _________________

I hope he can make a full recovery and provide some help to the Browns. I'd really like to see the Browns turn it around and become competitive again. _________________

Nelson always seemed to play well when I watched the Bills (and he was healthy) I'd rather have Nelson and his size that Donald Jones... _________________ Adopt-a-Patriot '14: Danny Amendola Status: Allegedly Deflating Balls On The Sideline |

The Browns have a pretty solid receiving group with Gordon, Little, Nelson, and Benjamin. David Nelson is a bit like Ed McAffrey used to be, not much change of direction or any explosion, but he has height, toughness, good hands, blocking ability, and solid route running. _________________ Stop slobbering over Brian Dawkins |

His best asset right there. He's one of the better blocking WR's in the game. He'll help free up a lot of perimeter running. _________________

I doubt the Browns use him in this way, but he also did plenty of pass protection after motioning into the backfield with the Bills. He's a smart player. _________________ Stop slobbering over Brian Dawkins |
