Nelson tore his ACL last season, probably why it took him awhile to sign with a team.

He's got a hot wife. There, I said it. That has more impact than the actual signing.

Could be very underrating signing. Will be missed.

Yeah, between him and Donald Jones, he was definitely the WR whose departure bothered me more.

So brave.

He had 61 catches in 2011.

Browns' leading receiver last year had 50.

I think he'll have an impact for a team that needed a WR.

Solid signing. Was injured last year but had a very respectable season the year prior. Could be a good third or fourth option for the Browns.

Retarded move by Nix not keeping Nelson. If he is fully recovered than should be solid underrated signing

Honestly a bit heartbroken. David was one of my favorite Bills. Always came up big when it counted.

I hope he can make a full recovery and provide some help to the Browns. I'd really like to see the Browns turn it around and become competitive again.

Nelson always seemed to play well when I watched the Bills (and he was healthy) I'd rather have Nelson and his size that Donald Jones...

The Browns have a pretty solid receiving group with Gordon, Little, Nelson, and Benjamin. David Nelson is a bit like Ed McAffrey used to be, not much change of direction or any explosion, but he has height, toughness, good hands, blocking ability, and solid route running.

His best asset right there. He's one of the better blocking WR's in the game. He'll help free up a lot of perimeter running.

I doubt the Browns use him in this way, but he also did plenty of pass protection after motioning into the backfield with the Bills. He's a smart player.
