Porter and now Young. Allen is bringing back the boys from the Saints.

Good depth, which we were sorely lacking.

Haven't watched much of him, but I know he isn't 'good'.

What are his glaring weakness?

And what can he do well?

Our depth chart at FS before the signing was Brandian Ross and Akwasi Owusu-Ansah.

I'd be shocked if we don't draft a FS.

Such a wasted pick by us on that guy. He sucks.

I like the signing, straight up, the Raiders just dont have the draft picks to fill holes....and I dont know how desirable a FA destination it is either

You gotta build the organization up one step at a time, Young is an upgrade over what they already had....good enough

Eh.... warm body. Hope the Raiders upgrade the FS spot in the draft. He has ties to Allen back in NO.

Glaring weaknesses are his tackling angles. In the open field, he is toast.

What he does well is fill out a roster. He has some positional versatility (can play FS, SS or Dime CB), but doesn't play any position well enough to be considered a starter.

He's an excellent character guy who does lots of charity and community work, so at least he won't be an embarassment off the field.

For a veteran depth signing, you could do worse. But not by much.
