Quote:
Washington Redskins quarterback Robert Griffin III set an NFL single-season record for passer rating by a rookie (102.4) while earning NFL Rookie of the Year and Pro Bowl honors last season.

Griffin also had the top-selling jersey in NFL history, Darren Rovell of ESPN.com reports.

Exact figures were not disclosed, but according to Rovell, Griffin's jersey paced sales from April 1, 2012 until March 1, 2013, an impressive feat considering Griffin was not officially in the National Football League until the Redskins selected him with the No. 2 overall pick of the 2012 NFL draft, a selection that was made around 8:30 p.m. on April 26.

Griffin was one of seven quarterbacks to rank in the Top 10 in jersey sale rankings.

It will be outsold 2 to 1 by the Teddy Bridgewater Philadelphia Eagles jersey.

Hopefully he goes on to follow in Tebow's footsteps. Very Happy

So you are predicting the Eagles to be the worst team in the NFL this year? Laughing

Really? He only missed one start last year..It's not like he only played half the year. Now if your implying that he needs to be more disciplined and careful then yes I wholeheartedly agree with you because I would hate for him to suffer another major injury.

But to say he is riddled with the injury bug is just flat out wrong. He just needs to learn to slide and avoid big hits to avoid another injury but he's not a fragile player in the sense that every time he takes a hit he gets injured. Big difference.

Pretty impressive that Kaepernick was 4th, seeing as he was only really relevant for about half of that time period they go by.

Not totally surprised by this. He is a good player if he can stay injury free. Love the Subway Socks.
