Uh why? Confused Whoever picking 1st will need a QB most likely and Bridgewater is the best QB. Common sense there.

If it is common sense then why didn't any team in the top 10 take a QB this year? Clowney is the BPA in next years draft and is better than Mario Williams when he came out and went #1...common sense.

Because not a single QB from this years class was even close to what Bridgewater will be.

Not only that, there are likely to be more QB desperate teams towards the front of the draft next year.

I still think Clowney could go first, but lets not compare this years draft class to next years, or any of the QBs in this draft class to Bridgewater. He isnt an Andrew Luck caliber prospect, but still an elite/borderline elite prospect.

Plus, if it plays out this way and Oakland picks #1, Clowney would have to be the pick...DL is and will be their #1 need.

???

Matt Flynn is their QB.

He is far from a sure thing.

If he sucks out loud, QB is easily the bigger need.

That was my point, thanks. You can't compare past drafts to future ones, just like you can't say a QB is always going to go #1 because teams who have the #1 pick will always need a QB.

I understand that, but DL is a need for the Raiders now and will also be a need next year, we don't know if QB will be a need or not so you can't just come out and say "whoever is picking first will need a QB because they suck"

Lol, yeah bears in the superbowl is pretty funny. Clowney is the next Lawrence Taylor type impact pass rusher. He should be the first pick unless Bridgewater is clear cut a RG3, Andrew Luck type qb prospect which at this point he is not.

Picking #7? That just ridiculous. And the pick sucks.

Guys, please remember to discuss the pick itself, not where you're selecting.

Good Jaguars selection.

Makes sense for the Eagles. I wish we could have Mariota this year.

Yeah, not going to complain that the Jets don't have the first pick.

After the Geno pick yesterday, I think the Jets would be more likely to draft Clowney in this situation.

I stopped reading when I saw...

9.St Louis(Washington)-Anthony Johnson/DT/LSU

Even if KIRK COUSINS were to start all 16 games, I would bet we finish better than 9th worst record in NFL. (yes, he's that good)

With RG3???

Try putting that Rams (Redskins) pick somewhere after 21.
Cause we're repeating.

I do believe the 9ers would be looking at a DB early on - CB or SS should be the pick.
