It's not like its crazy talk to say that a defense started playing better.

Again, shades of Wince Young: Titans' D—a bottom-barrel bunch statistically—put up top-10 numbers during "his" '06 win streak.

Lol, my bad, that was dumb of me. Had to look up who 29 was(Ryan Mundy), copied the wrong name without even noticing who it was.

I'm gonna drop this subject now though. If there is one thing we can all agree on is that this guy gets way too much unwarranted attention. Still think he deserves a spot on a team.

Why aren't guys like Vince Young, Matt Leinart, and Troy Smith starting in the NFL?!?!? They were great in college, too!

Young and Leinart had a fair shot and proved they couldn't deliver wins. Tebow got half a season and turned around a losing frachise and won a playoff game.

Not that I am defending his statement. I also don't believe college accolades translate to the NFL. I base my opinion off the achievements Tebow achieved while under center for the Broncos. The 8-5 record, the 4th quarter comebacks, the game winning drives, and the playoff performance.

Uhm....

See 2006 & 2009 Seasons of the Tennessee Titans...

I'll help you out..

In no way am I saying Vince Young is the GOAT... but.. Yeah.... You're wrong

Not saying it was all Vince...

But he had more to do with that winning streak than Tebow did with his..

VY at least can throw an accurate spiral on an 8 yard hitch.

And the ball wouldn't bounce on the ground before it got to the WR. Tebow can't consistently hit the broad side of a barn even though it takes him all day to throw it there. That's why he has no business even thinking he can be a QB at the NFL level.

Pretty much my feelings on him. You can't have a release that makes Byron Leftwich look like Dan Marino and yet still not be accurate when you get the ball away. If you can't either fix the release or fix the accuracy issue, then he doesn't seem worth a roster spot. "deserved" or not. Quite simply he's not a good thrower of the football, and why on earth would I want a QB that can't throw unless I put him in these perfect situations?

My old college teammate is his QB coach. He has a lot of good things to say in the podcast, along with Steve Young.

Just wondering if any of the haters actually listened to this Podcast?
