With Britt, Wright, Hunter, Washington, Williams, and Mariani, really no need for Hawk. He was solid at times but was just too inconsistent. I expect one of Mariani, Wasington, or Williams to be next, likely Washington.

Was set to count $2.5 million against the cap after a five-catch season. After drafting Justin Hunter, there was just no space for him with Britt, Hunter, Wright, Washington and Damian Williams on the roster already.

I remember him benefiting from the Senior Bowl in a great way, I'm sure some team will pick him up.

I always liked Nate Washington, were the Titans still trying to trade him? They seem to have a lot of depth, but a lot of question marks.

Hawkins had his moments, but could never really put things together.

He'll bounce around the league a bit I think.

Guy could never stand out above the crap when he had his opportunity. He's a journeyman receiver at best.

What is it about the cardinals that inspires people to jump over them? We see Hawkins doing it here, Blount did it his rookie year, Jerome Simpson two years ago... It's just wild.

Inside guy IMO

Superior Agility and fluidity stopping and going like off the charts.. as fast as any one in the league with in 10 yards, outside of that not to much... hes not a deep speed guy , not a strength guy, not a exceptional route runner. This is from the limited games i seen him in, i loved him at Cal, him and DeSean were my boys.

He still has value i am sure if he could find the right system that would allow him to work more underneath, but he could use some coaching up and some weight room dedication.

I wonder if he would be a good fit with the Patriots. I remember way back when he was coming out that I liked what I read on him in the draft magazines. I never really watched him play though.

I'd give him a go for the Raiders, but would only be a 1 year deal.
