For bookkeeping purposes, Tyson Clabo got a 1-yr deal worth $3.5M. That's $1M guaranteed and $2.5M base salary.

This should be a big help to the line...good move, if he does well they can extend for a few more seasons...it does look like they are going with Martin on the Left...

Great signing by Miami, he can still play at a high level, was only cut due to cap reasons.

So, with this and Grimes, are the Dolphins getting all of our discarded players?

We'll take Julio if you don't want him.

Better move than trading for Albert, I think. Good signing.

Players from a team that consistently went to the play-offs...all day...

Decent signing. I'm guessing this means Martin will be the LT. Dolphins fans, how do you guys think he'll do on the left side?

Worked hard in the offseason to get stronger/bigger....should do alright, should be much better then last year.

Martin's biggest problems were:

1. Strength
2. He was a LT that we made play RT, and he wasn't comfortable. Then with no practice we slid him back to LT mid game in week 12.

I think with a full offseason practicing at LT, and the fact that is 318 now from spending the offseason pulling trucks up hills, he'll be about league average.

Another one of his issues was experience. It's something every rookie has to deal with, but the combination of his need to add strength and Stanford's quarter season had him unable to practice with the team until jid-June, which meant he had no opportunity to really work on what he needed to work on most.

Remains to be seen, there are some good signs and some bad signs with Martin.

However the QB/Centre making good reads at the line can really help make a tackle look better.

I always thought that Johnathan Martin was a better fit at LT anyway, seems like the right decision to not trade for Albert if Martin pans out. Clabo is a good RT.

Im sure you can find a lot of videos of rookies being dominated by one of the best pass rushers in the league.
