Eric Winston is closing in on a one-year deal with the Cardinals. Could be done in the next 24 hours.

Winston said he's sicking starter money type deal that is worth $3-$4 million a year.

Some teams such as the Dolphins tried to make him lower the price during free-agency but he didn't budge so they moved on.

Winston has been a full 16-game starter since 2007 and is a solid all around player.

@kentsomers: Eric Winston's 1 yr deal will be near vet minimum. Can make more $$$if he becomes a starter.

Great signing by Arizona. Keep your statue up right.

I think that's a great signing. Now they can either pair him with Mr. GOAT himself Levi Brown or move on from him soon enough and pair him with Massie who looked good last year.

....crap

As a division rival, not much else I can say. It's code for: Great Signing at a position of need, you opportunistic bastards.

Good signing. Great run blocker but his short stubby arms hurt him in pass pro. Maybe they move him to Guard? As Texan fans we wanted to see that for some time, but it never happened.

Would be interesting considering he never even played the position in college.

Never played it at any level of football. Was a RT in high school also.

I dunno why he is signing now. I thought he was a solid tackle.

He was holding out to get starter's money. Same reason why Brandon Moore is still unsigned.

He is solid, but he wanted too much money to be a backup and many of the teams that needed starters preferred to draft someone.
